I want to say the food and service was amazing! The chef, Chris, came out and explained all our appetizers, which we ordered beef fat fries, mushrooms and beef tar tar. The server Reese and Dana were amazing! My glass was never empty and they were so attentive! The dinner was a 52oz steak and was cooked perfectly! I would recommend to come down and try their menu!

Everything we ordered looked very fresh and appetizing. The drinks and wine selection was A+. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We sat outside where they took precautions for mosquitoes and provided repellent. They also have an area where you can buy meat to go, local products and even tableware used in the restaurant. We brought back home a ribeye to sous vide and it tasted incredible. Would come back to try new dishes next time I’m in Charleston.

Top charleston restaurant!!!! Food, service, ambiance and a 5 star quality meal at a tremendous value. The ingredients are locally sourced using healthy ingredients had a grass fed dry aged steak that came from the owners farm was amazing w great unique sauces. A whole wild fish done w great flavor and topped w microgreens best fish ever!!! Live music was awesome, best most unique drink I ever had w tequila mezcal and cinnamon. The waiter Reece is on point so chill so nice, the manager Ethan was a very nice person also met the owner great guy. The backyard is like an oasis. You must check out Herd Provisions if you go to Charleston. Best restaurant!!!

First of all I want to thank Herd Provisions for accommodating my family for my sister’s graduation dinner! The folks at Herd Provisions CHS hands down served us an amazing dinner last night in commemorating my sisters graduation from The College of Charleston. The food was amazing and the service was next to none, the best service we have received and I highly recommend enjoying a meal at Herd Provisions. We received a multi-course meal that isn’t readily available only on special occasions and it was family style. The Manager and Chef brought and served my family items off their menu and special Mother’s Day recipe dishes. We also received special accommodations and being served by management with the utmost respect you can tell Herd Provisions is all about top notch customer service and tending to the needs of their customers. I have posted various photos of the meals and dishes served and when I tell you this is the spot to check out I truly mean it! The atmosphere of Herd Provisions is full of love and you can tell the chefs take pride in their dishes. Again, thank you to Herd Provisions for the AMAZING dinner and we will definitely be back! First time visiting this lovely place. My wife and I both had the filet of sole sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. You could tell the fish was fresh and not previously frozen. There was enough fries 🍟 to choke a horse. Next time I will get a different side and munch on my wife's fries 😂. The outside deck in the back is so nice. Coverage from the sun is provided by umbrellas and trees. Love this place. Will definitely return for another meal. Service was impeccable.

Marinated Beef Tips w/Orange Chimichurri and Coconut Fried Rice for appetizer. SO good. The rice should be on the menu as a side! Sooo good.
The Poussin Rouge was fantastic. The veggies with it were just so refreshing and full of flavor!!! Coffee Steak, Artichoke & Farrow salad, Asparagus & Marscapone Ravioli and for dessert Smores Cake.

Finally made it to Herd for dinner on a Tuesday evening after looking for a good dining spot for 7 people. There was barely anyone else there but they had live music and the food was incredible! Having moved here from a small state that had lots of amazing restaurants and locally-sourced ingredients, I’ve been surprisingly disappointed in the dining options in the CHS area. There are SO many restaurants here but only a few have made it on my list of really great food worth going back to. Our family can’t wait to eat a Herd again!

There is no shortage of amazing restaurants in Charleston, and Herd Provisions is definitely one not to be missed! This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time - we had appetizers of the fresh pulled mozzarella & a kale salad, which were perfect. My friend had the daily special, which was soft shell crab, and I had the pork (which was more rare than I'm used to, but absolutely amazing!) We sat on the patio which I highly recommend! Well worth the money!

Great little place to eat. Bartender recommended the pumpkin ravioli and it was fantastic. He even gave me toasties to soak up the sauce.
Rated PG drink was fun and I’m happy that mocktails are popular.
The Apple Cobbler came in a cute dish and was yummy.
10/10 will dine again. Left stuffed and happy.

A great restaurant with a really nice interior and a little shop at the front. I had the veggie burger which was excellent. Their hot sauce seemed to be homemade and it was too die for!! The fries were really nice, a touch salty but only at the bottom of the dish. My nephew was raving about the chicken wings! Five stars from him!
