Personally some of the best Texican I’ve had. Our tacos were stuffed to the top. And, made the way we like them. One taco felt like the equivalent of two. Delicious, and very filling. The meat was perfectly seasoned. Just a bit of a kick. I added some sour cream, and it was perfect. The tropical s
Decent food. Rice and beans, guacamole, naked Amy (seasoned ground beef) and chili were pretty good. Enchiladas were okay.
Free bull rides! I was here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. We were seated immediately. Food was good and drinks were good. Some things weren’t great: it took a while for us to get the check, our server was confused when we ordered black cherry sweet tea & said they didn’t have it even
Great place. We had a wonderful dinner. Service was awesome! Super friendly and prompt. Great food, atmosphere and drinks!
We were visiting Charleston and were told this place has the BEST Mexican food in all of Charleston. I wish I could give this place 10 ⭐️s. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. You could tell she loved working here bc she was very knowledgeable about the menu and was readily able to
While not fancy by any means, we still had a fantastic, quick lunch. The Taco Tuesday specials were a plus! $5 margaritas? $5 tacos? $5 queso? Sign us up. The enchiladas were fantastic, too. Authentic? Who knows, but still very good. Plus, you can ride a mechanical bull inside if you're brave enough
We were impressed! We had lunch on a very busy day for the area and was able to score a table for six easily. For how busy they were, the service was great and food came out so fast. They had the best chips and salsa. The chips are so thin and salty. They reminded us of Chili’s chips and salsa. Food
I visited with about 14 friends to celebrate a friends birthday. Had the street-style ribeye and texican grilled shrimp tacos. ::chefs kiss:: House salsa and chips could’ve used a little spice kick but were complimentary so can’t complain too much. Also, really great service from Maggie. She gave ho
I’ve been here before for food (tacos were a solid 4) but recently got cocktails at El Jefe — margaritas are gigantic! It doesn’t feel like there is a lot of alcohol in it. Bar tenders were very nice!
As a native Texan, I’m naturally suspicious of seeing a Texas flag outside of a restaurant in South Carolina. So after a Citadel parade at Marion Square, we walked back down King Street for lunch at El Jefe. The food was good but different. They do fry their own tortilla chips, which is commendable.
We were here for a bachelorette trip in April and this is the GO TO place!! The atmosphere is so cool and fun! The staff is incredible! From the gentlemen at the door letting us in, to the service, straight down to the owner, these people are amazing! They make you feel welcome and are so accommodat
What more can you say :) Thanks for recording the last few seconds of my ride, guy working at the mechanical bull. You really didn’t have to do that, and it was super cool of you.
Grabbed lunch on a Saturday. Neither of us was terribly impressed with the food. I asked for no cilantro and no jalapenos - food came with a huge handful of cilantro. We failed to specify which protein we wanted and the waitress did not ask which - so none. The red sauce tasted like it came out of a
Food and service were amazing. We were seated right away, our server was friendly and attentive and the food was good. We had tacos and the nachos, the tacos had great flavor and a little kick. We'll be back next time we're in town. Bonus, they also have a mechanical bull which was a delight to w
Awesome texican restaurant downtown! The chips, salsa, and queso were delicious to start, especially the warm fresh chips. We both got steak burritos, and they definitely delivered on the size, they were huge and delicious! The frozen margarita was pretty good as well, if not just a little too sweet
