We love coming here at night while in Charleston. I strongly recommend doing one of the cheese boards, they have a great selection and it comes with tasty pairings.

Our favorite place to go for an after work snack, on a Saturday, dinner, or really any time of the week or day. Best cheese and charcuterie board in Charleston. Be sure to order the P’tit Basque & the Tomme de Berry… and don’t forget the pan con tomate! Can’t say enough about the hospitality- you’ll become fast friends with the team there! They’re so welcoming and charming! We love you Jo, Andrew, Mathis, Eleni, Dom, and Benjamin!

Had a wonderful experience at this Wine Bar. The server was so helpful in pairing the perfect wine with the food choices offered. My husband and I were not disappointed!! Its been 8 months since we've been here because we live 4 hrs away and we think about this wine bar all the time. We very highly recommend! Can't wait to be back!!

The staff at 167 oyster bar recommended this place while we were waiting for a table. Great place with a laid-back vibe. Charcuterie boards are works of art! Service was very friendly.

Bistro a Vin was great since we needed a light dinner since we had had a late lunch. They have a terrific wine list and Eleni, the wine manager, is very knowledgable (Go Cornell School of Hotel Management!) The wines were delicious including port we had at the end. The charcuterie and cheese along with accoutrements (dried fruit, mostarda, mustard, honey) were delicious. Fantastic and will go again!

This place is a gem! We unexpectedly found Bistro A Vin on a carriage tour; it look so interestingly inviting that we had to come back for a drink. We found it to be much more that a wine bar! The wine was wonderful but the plate - oh my! The food was so delicious and the service was excellent. We'll be back on our next trip to Charleston.

Came in from New York for the weekend and found Bistro A Vin by chance. Such a cozy and charming French bistro; it'll exceed all your expectations. Came on Friday night and loved it so much we made a reservation to come back on Saturday. The food and wine were delicious, and the atmosphere was incredible with their large outdoor patio and live music. Mathis, Jordan, and Pedro were so knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly that we felt right at home. Already looking forward to when I can come back next :)

A few ladies and I had a charming evening taking all of Jordan's wine recommendations and devouring Florence's, almost to beautiful to eat, charcuterie boards. This little wine bar has one of the most beautiful and largest outdoor patios in the area and is a must visit whether a local or a visitor. Adorable French get away nestled right in downtown Charleston!

Found this great little place during Undisiscovered Charleston food tour with Forest, an awesome guy. Bistro A Vin has a unique wine selection and Pascal who runs it is very friendly and knowledgeable. We will visit again and again.
