Smokey Bones N. Charleston

I don’t usually write reviews but yesterday I received some of the best service I’ve had in awhile. My wife was having a rough day so we stopped in to grab a bite to eat. Our waitress, Mary, was so nice and patient. We hadn’t been to Smokey Bones in awhile so she walked us through the menu and took time to answer our questions and make menu suggestions. Our food was good but if I had to pick a reason to come back, it would be for the service.

Our server Megan was phenomenal!! I was reading other comments on this place and I have to reiterate what some have said! I don’t know why this place is not busting out the seams!! The atmosphere is amazing. The food came out piping hot! Everything is seasoned to perfection. Megan, recommend some great options for us to try. The fried pickles delicious. The Mag Nachos were amazing. The brisket was wonderful and my boyfriend got the Mushroom Swiss burger and it melted in your mouth!! The wings were fire!! We had the honey hot and spicy garlic buffalo and they were bursting with flavor! Please go and when you do ask for Megan!!

I drove by this place on my to target for TSA locks, and the smell was traveling across the parking lot. We had some time to kill and were hungry. Smokey Bones was a “no brainer” for me, and couldn’t have found a better place to eat lunch before going to the airport! Friendly service, great bbq, bathroom was clean. The ribs were perfect and the pork belly pops were off the hook, and so full of flavor! This was the perfect way to end our trip to South Carolina.

My husband, son and I ate there a few days ago. Our waitress, Melissa was wonderful, sweet, and very accommodating. After putting in our order she was informed that they did not have something we ordered. She came right back out, allowed us to change our order and apologized, even though it wasn't her fault. She continually checked on us and and made sure we were satisfied until the moment we left!! She deserves a raise 😉 The food was delicious, arrived rather quickly and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing! We will definitely go back again!

It's been 2 years since I've been here last and it wasn't the best experience... Fast forward to today and the place has done a complete 180. The food was tasty and fresh as well as quickly served. The dining experience was enhanced by our server Melissa who was a gem. She was there every time I looked up, ready to serve. Well done, well done.

Terrific recent experience here! Last time we were here was over five years ago. The food seems even better than I remember. Our fabulous server was Morgan; definitely asking for her again next time. She made a good dining experience even better by being attentive, friendly, & fast! The meats are good; BBQ baked beans and the fire roasted corn are both terrific sides! Their Brunswick stew is also delicious -- just very lightly sweet, which enhances the flavor even more. I just wish they'd serve it a little warmer instead of lukewarm. Nevertheless, we'll be back very soon.
