Rustic, dark, and cozy atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. BOMB chicken wings AND they have Wild Turkey 101 bourbon!!!! Favorite place to hang.

Had a large group of families after funeral service at Holy Cross. With so many at one time staff did wonderful. I am recommending it highly to anyone going to Charleston. Wish they were in Beaufort.

Lowdown Oven and Bar was a great place for lunch. The Pimento Cheese appetizer is a lot of food. The Man, Bear, Pig pizza is really good but the combination of meats can be a bit salty. The Ruben was really good as was the pasta salad. Would hight recommend and will return.

I was super impressed with the food. It came out hot and delicious. To be honest, I was apprehensive at first, but the beer was cold, and the pretzel appetizer was amazing.

Wow! This place is incredible. We just arrived in town and we’re craving a burger. Googled best burger around Charleston and this popped up. So glad we decided on giving it a try. Server was great and very friendly, even with how busy they were. Food came out fast and was wonderful till the last bite. Had two of their cocktails, which they were both very good. We will definitely be back!

The Lowdown is a family favorite! The service and atmosphere are always on point. This is definitely a local hangout you don't want to miss. Huge portions for a great price. The Bleu cheese chips and the Philly are must haves whenever we are in town. 💗

Great for families or a quick bite. Comfort food like burgers, sliders, wings, home made chips with blue cheese and balsamic glaze. ( Gotta try it). Salads avail too. Quite an extensive bar menu although we didn't partake on this outing. Recommend

Quick and amazing lunch, that didn’t break the bank!! We got the Tuesday special Philly steak sandwich half price and it came with a side.
The house chips were amazing as well. Can’t wait to try out more of their menu.
