Vintage Lounge

I decided to grab a plastic cup of water on my way out the door to hydrate and sober up. The bouncer outside didn't like it. He almost knocked me over, ripped the water out of my hand, and started yelling at me. I now understand that it's against policy to exit the lounge with a drink in hand. (even water). But a simple, "Sir, could you please hand me your water"? would have worked. I discussed this with several friends who also informed me that they've had problems with the door men/women at this establishment. Apparently they think they are above the law and can do and treat people however they want. A couple weeks ago I saw a young gentleman being thrown into the back of a cop car for fighting with their bouncer. I'm starting to wonder who was really at fault. Avoid the Vintage Lounge. ** Updated** My mistake. This was the bar next door. Prohibition. I sincerely apologize to Vintage. I will move this review over to the place that earned it. Vintage gets 5 Stars.

Was in town for a wedding a couple of weekends back. My friends and I decided to hit Vintage up as we heard some good things about the place. We arrived at around 10pm, to our surprise it was already very busy, but we were able to get some seating at a corner booth. The drinks were excellent, but the most impressive part about our visit was hands down the service. Our server, Madelyn, was just absolutely on top of it. I don’t remember ever waiting which was very impressive considering how busy the place was. Will definitely be coming back!

This is long overdue, but my husband and I love this place so much we’ll just drop in when we’re in the area to say hello to Nathan!! The first time I went there I loved the vibes. It has a very intimate setting with impeccable style and then if you want to stay even later through the night-they know how to keep up with the rest of upper King Street in a tasteful way ;) Honestly hope one day they’ll move to Broad St or somewhere south of Calhoun because I think they’re too good for that area! Their charcuterie boards are amazing, wine is divine, cocktails spot on and I think their fun Porróns is their specialty. Their staff is so kind and we’ve developed great friendships with some who used to work their. Can’t count how many birthdays we’ve celebrated their, business vendor parties, sporting events (definitely visit during the Kentucky Derby for a bougie time!) Highly recommend this place and our favorite time to go used to be on a Friday around 8 or 9 to keep the night going or start it off! Love you Vintage Lounge!!

Voted South Carolina’s Most Beautifully Designed Bar and as soon as you enter, you will see why! Truly a gorgeous, relaxing and inviting atmosphere, stellar cocktails and wines, and exceptional ownership. Charcuterie boards are phenomenal and the staff understands pairing well. Outdoor patio available for event rentals at an very affordable rate for such a high end presence. When you go visit - Tell Tim & Nathan the Pirate Hunter sent ya!

Awesome new wine bar without a pretentious air. Love the decor, painted ceilings, great courtyard. Bartenders were friendly and helpful in making selections. Try the “Blind Tasting”...even if you get it wrong, you get a great glass of wine and a little wine knowledge to take with you! Great cheese, charcuterie and dessert selections.
