Excellent Food. Being from "the north" originally, two things I cannot find to my liking in CHS are Chinese and Pizza. Dragon Palace has fulfilled one of those cravings! Their food is excellent and the décor is an "attraction" I like to bring out of town guests to see!

Another return trip as this is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Charleston. Had the dinner for 2. Really enjoyed the asian chicken salad appetiser. Both dinner dishes: one beef and one chicken we equally good. Will return again.

Great Food!. The food here is great and the service is as well!!!!!!! The inside is SOOO beautiful!! I love to bring all my guests here as they always LOVE it!! Also, if you order lobster, they have a tank there and you can pick out which one you want!! Fresh and delicious ingredients and they are so accomodating especially for the kids!

Fine dining atmosphere, good food. The atmosphere is fine dining, and the food is delicious. The prices aren't bad either! I've been there numerous times for both lunches and dinners, and each time it has been great. I've never had anything that was bad there, and the portions for both lunches and dinner are generous.

Great formal Chinese restaurant. This is not a Chinese buffet - this is a beautifully decorated, gorgeous restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious, if a little pricey (Get the duck, its worth it). I really like their tea as well.

Chinese Surprise. The inside is a stuning surprise to find even if this is Daniel island. Food is good. A bit pricey for some. But it is worth it.

It's probably the only legit Chinese anywhere near Charleston! They have a cute little shop in an unassuming mall, which is beautifully decorated and upkept. The kicker is that on Saturdays, they do a dim sum brunch, and it absolutely rules. We got the mix of dumplings, rolls, and steamed dishes, and all were excellent. The host even made some recommendations, which all panned out and made us happy. All the staff were warm, and the entire facility was clean. Coming from a place with more asian options, my only complaint is the size of the dishes. We got about ten plates for two people, and I had a bowl of rice as well. I could have honestly kept eating, but it was all gone.

Under new management and they are doing a great job. Place is cute, clean, friendly, and the dim sum sampler for $7.95 is totally homemade and the best deal on the island. I also had one of their beef dishes and it was flavorful and not oily (thank you!). I will come back and try it again.

Top tier! The food I ordered was outstanding. I can’t stand food that is over-salted and the Mongolian beef and Ginger shrimp was great! I look forward to coming back. One thing bothered me though. I went around 730pm on a Saturday and the place was pretty empty! Food that is this good should attract more people! What’s the matter with y’all?!

Since we moved to Charleston, we have been looking for a good Asian restaurant. Well, we found it in Dragon Palace! The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive. Plus, there is a pretty well-stocked bar. The inside of the establishment is gorgeous, warm with sumptuous embellishments. I've added a pic for reference (which doesn't do it justice). I definitely recommend it!

The Pineapple Fried Rice at this restaurant is a delightful explosion of flavors. The combination of sweet and savory ingredients is a real treat for the taste buds.Their Ho Fun noodles are also a must-try! The texture and flavour is just right, and the sauce that comes with it is even more tangy and delicious!

Awesome food and atmosphere. I think this place is worth visiting for the decor alone, but the dumplings are amazing as well. Shout outs to my server Allie for the great service, she's the GOAT

Good service, attentive staff. Food was delicious and tastes fresh. Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable for portions and the restaurant is not an average Chinese restaurant, so expect to pay a bit more, but worth it. Interesant Chinese interiors design and furniture.

Excellent food with some of the “rarest” Chinese dishes you can find in the US, all reasonably priced with superb services. Dragon Palace is a rare and delightful combination of food, service, price and dinning experience. If you just want a down and dirty, stuff your face, Thursday night diner, this will do, but it maybe JUST a bit more than you would expect from a “typical” strip mall Chinese place. But this is an EXCELLENT, dine in or take out spot, should definitely be concerned as the pearl of Charleston. The food is wonderfully made, not too heavy, not greasy, and all are appropriately portioned. They are flavorful where it should be, and subtle where it should be. Their wide selection of the menu is an unusual but very welcome sight. Ho Fun is a stable of traditional Chinese cooking and it is very common in China. The ingredients are actually quite simple but for reason unknown they are quite hard to come by in the US, except maybe if you go to the Chinatown in NYC or SF (you get my point). And to find that in Charleston, SC was more than a pleasure surprise! Not to mention their Ho Fun was masterfully made and it really reminded me of the ones I had in Hong Kong as a young boy. Another great find was a Dim Sum platter! I know right!!! Now you can have a little bit of ALL the Dim Sums without having to bring home extras! Dim Sums are generally served in a set of 3,4,5. First world problem it might be, but it always annoying to want to get Dim Sums by yourself but can only get 1 or 2 type because you don’t want to deal with the left over, not a problem here. And once again Dragon Palace hit these Dim Sums right out of the park! Really there should be more places with Dim Sums platter. Last but not least, the service was prompt, polite, and easy. The decor is out of this part of the country, it really remind me of some of the really old, historical Chinese restaurant. You can tell there was love made into this place. Final word, it is at least worth 1 visit, but if you are close by, this should be at least a monthly stop, cause these kind of love for a Chinese restaurant is getting harder and harder to find in the US.

Absolutely fantastic Chinese cuisine. I was very happy with the way that everything was organized and even though there was only one host handling all of the tables, he was very fast-paced and attentive. Not to mention, the food was absolutely fantastic!

Finally managed to stop in and try this place yesterday. I’ve been hunting for steamed buns for months. I tried the pork buns and the little juicy buns. Both were good but the little ones were amazing. I did the lunch special with wonton soup, spring roll and chicken curry. Everything was so tasty. The lunch special was an incredible deal. The amount of food for that price is hard to beat. The chicken curry had a nice amount of heat and was really flavorful. I wish I would have had a little more sauce for the rice but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Try the juicy little buns and the lunch specials.
