East Bay Deli - West Ashley

My wife and I stopped at East Bay Deli, so that she could use the restroom and grab a quick bite to eat. Honestly, I didn't think the food would be all that good. I was really really wrong. I had the reuben and my wife had the old bay burger. It's very rare that you can taste each individual ingredient, but they pulled it off. I have to go back to Charleston on Monday. This is now my lunch spot for the foreseeable future.

10/9/23 6 pm: This is the place you are looking for!!! We walked in to great vibes and sweet staff! The menu is deliciously long — we chose the one trip salad bar and the ‘Citadel’ sandwich. Oh my. I think I just had the best sandwich of my life!!! The toasted whole wheat bread with the flavors of the honey mustard on the meats was out of this world good. Fresh lettuce and tomato on top to boot! The salad bar was seriously FRESH, with awesome options, and it was as good to eat as it was to look at — so good. Hit the spot! Fair pricing, super clean, and perfect for a quick visit or even to sit and stay awhile. Thank you for a LOVELY experience! We wish we lived like 700 miles closer!

My job with TRIO brought our students here for lunch during our visit to Charleston, S.C. and it was an awesome experience. The food was delicious and the staff customer service was amazing. The staff worked hard to get the orders in and out. The wait was not long. Keep up the good work Charleston East Bay Deli. Kudos to you all..

East Bay Deli is one of the best sandwich shops in the area. They have a lot of options for someone gluten free. My children are very picky and they love eating here. I also live the atmosphere and decor. It makes for an interesting visit here. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. Their parking lot is big enough to accommodate their business
