Beautiful setting and the food was amazing! The fried green tomatoes are the best we’ve ever had in and around the city and come with an array of accoutrements that give every bite a new flavor. The LA Cuban and blackened chicken salad were most excellent, as well. I will say that, if you are on a schedule, wait until you have time to fully enjoy the experience, as the service was more laid back. That is not, however, unique to this establishment, but seemingly the island as a whole where, the only people moving at a fast pace are the joggers. Put this restaurant on your list of places to visit, for sure!

Yes I rated this place 5 stars. It’s because from being so clean to service to the food and quality of food. The bathroom was very clean. The waitress was amazing. It’s such a cute little place. There is not a bad thing to say about it except why don’t they have one in Summerville. They have great fries. An amazing wine selection.

Our time we was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. The food is delicious and the staff is so welcoming. They treat you like regulars. Anything off the menu is outstanding and great prices!

Alice was our server and she made perfect recommendations! The collard greens were drool worthy! The short rib sandwich was a thick cut of meat and it was tender and delish with the perfect light horseradish sauce. I'll be back for this again!

We ended up here by chance, but it was great. The duck was truly exceptional, and the jumbo crab cake addition to a small Ceasar salad was also great!

The short rib sandwich with au jus and bacon balsamic collards were amazing. The sweet potato fries were some of the freshest and the apple club had such great flavors. Service was top notched! Love the atmosphere! Highly recommend!

YUM! What a great place. Vibrant atmosphere even at lunch on a Tuesday. Everything I ate was *chef's kiss*. The brie egg rolls with raspberry chipotle coulis were soooo amazing. The sesame tuna salad was perfect - tuna was expertly seared. I'm definitely going back.

AC was being worked on while we were there and the kitchen, I know, was HOT, but that staff cranked out spectacular food, so kudos to them. Great food. Great service. Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! We had wonderful service today on the quaint back patio. Clearly they didn't expect the wonderful weather and the crowd that came with it, but both the server and the kitchen rolled with it. The food was amazing. I had the blackened tuna BLT... Phenomenal. My friend had the braised short rib sandwich and raved about it. The blue cheese cole slaw was wonderful. I will be back. Hint: they take reservations for lunch and today you needed them. We were lucky to be one of the first to sit outside.

Probably the nicest and only decent sandwich place on daniel island. Great selection of sandwiches & wine. They also sometimes host wine tasting events during lunch hours. Service is prompt and staff is very friendly. But food, that's the best part about Laura Albert's.

Pretty small and cozy Island restaurant. The food was pretty decent, some people in our party really liked their food and others didn’t think it was the best. Don’t know if our server was just having a bad day but she wasn’t really with it. She forgot a couple of items we asked for and wasn’t too entirely friendly. Overall good atmosphere though.

If you like wine,this is the place for you. An excellent wine selection and fantastic food. The service was great, especially since they only had two servers when we visited. Megan was attentive and made sure we had a great experience.

My sister and I often eat here...we love it. We usually have friendly wait staff, but not today. The young dark haired lady brought coffee that was warm at best. I had alot of salad and shrimp left and asked for a Togo container, she brought 1 square container. I said I need something larger or another one as it won't all fit in this. She walked off and as she rounded the corner she was rolling her eyes. When she returned with the second container, I said thank you so much....to which she said umhuh. This is a great place, with wonderful food, but this young waitress was more suited to a fast food restaurant.

This place is marvelous- perhaps one of Charleston's best kept secrets. They serve lunch daily, but dinner only on Wednesday nights. My son and I ate there last night and everything about it- the food, the service, and the ambience was wonderful! I find it hard to believe this place has gotten a couple of bad reviews...�

Laura Alberts on Daniel's Island is amazing. I've eaten here several times for either lunch or brunch - each time the food and service was great. However, I had them host my son's rehearsal dinner last week and they exceeded my expectations in every way. They made this so easy for me. We had the restaurant to ourselves and used the courtyard for the rehearsal. The food was delicious. The decor was so elegant and the staff could not have been better. It was a perfect event.
