Home Team Bbq - Downtown Charleston - Charleston - Photo album

I was visiting Charleston for the weekend and my boyfriend's friend took us to Home Town BBQ Downtown on Friday for lunch. All I got to say was the BBQ was the best that I ever had. The wings were fantastic. I loved the dry rub on them. The fried mac and cheese/sausage/collard greens/chilli were gre
This place is HUGE ! Indoor/Outdoor seating One of the best Pulled Pork sandwiches I've ever had. Nice and smokey. And they had red sauces ! Highly recommended !
Today we tried the sliced brisket with a side of Mac n cheese and cole slaw. Brisket was tender and moist with a beautiful smoke line. Mac n cheese is creamy and cheesy with just enough of the burnt edge to satisfy the Mac n cheese lover. Slaw was tasty but more of a vinegar based sauce then what I’
I really enjoyed this restaurant ( my family did as well)! I found it on YouTube as a place locals visit but not a lot of tourists. I wanted to try it while in Charleston because I'd heard about it's mustard based bbq sauce. We don't have that where I live, so I was curious. I have to say I was init
Amazing Sportsbar. Awesome atmosphere Great food. One of the best burger I’ve ever eaten, if not the best!! Unfortunately they don’t have fries on the menu. Service was also great 👍
Definitely a 5-star experience at Home Team. Came highly recommended by our local hosts and our was fantastic! Carolina style BBQ with all of the sauces, including Alabama white sauce and death sauce on the deep fried ribs. Soooooo good 🤤 Per usual we ordered too much food, but wanted to make sure w

This was my first visit and it was beyond amazing. The weather was pleasant enough to sit outside mid-afternoon in the vast footprint. I remarked several times how excellent the size and spacing of the large, long tables was. And the format placement of the many *large LARGE* televisions was excel
Wings and queso were great. Turkey was tough, almost no smoke. Pork was pretty good.
Sliced brisket platter with collard greens and Brunswick stew was super. As well as the pulled pork, baked beans and mac & cheese. Decent selection of craft beers on tap. Nice back yard barbeque atmosphere.
Great local BBQ, loved the chicken and St. Louis style ribs. Great baked beans and Cole slaw.
Oh man. I can’t say enough good things. Got a pulled pork platter with Mac and cheese and collard greens and a lager to go with it. Sent me right to Heaven. Great atmosphere, great place, totally recommend.
OMG! SATURDAY NIGHTS! This place has the best atmosphere, watching college football. Food is delicious. Just be patient on a busy Sat. It's totally worth it! And service is always consistent. Highly recommend coming here.
Very Good BBQ. Amazing wings, Chicken, & Tom's Tacos. Delish!!! Definitely coming back. Obviously my plate was finished before I took photo! So Good. Also serve Shiner Bock which is A+ in my book.
I fancy myself to be a bit of a food connoisseur and although I hand out a lot of 5 star reviews it is difficult to earn one from me. Home Team BBQ; without any hesitation earns a 5 star review. The fried ribs were legitimately one of the best things I have ever had. In my life! I will say the sauce
