Bakehouse Charleston - Charleston - Photo album

Delicious coffee in a very tourist convenient location! Walking distance to 4 Corners of Law, Waterfront Park and the Battery. Next time I am going to try a pastry. Bistro seats outside and lots of tables inside. Excellent spot to people watch and pretty view of downtown architecture.
Great place! Great service. I got a great mocha latte, and my husband got a cold brew. There was a line, but the barista and cashier worked together to make drinks very efficiently. They even had gluten free brownies and knew enough to tell my husband that they had no gluten in them, but that no sp
Service was great! The people working at the counter were friendly and helpful. When we went, it seemed better for takeout because all of the seats were filled. We had a frozen spiked lemonade which was tasty, but not strong. The cookie was my favorite part. It’s nice for a quick bite and drink.
Located in a prime location in downtown Charleston. Ok location for quick drink and sandwich. At 10am on a Tuesday they still had plenty available. Sandwiches left more to desire especially for the price. Egg and sausage are all pre made then warmed up in the microwave and served. The actual biscuit
We were looking for something quaint by the joe Riley park. This place sounded nice, so we stopped in. AMAZING service and sweets and coffee. Definitely stop in and try the coffee cake!
Great little spot for a quick bite and a drink. They have a nice variety of coffee beverages, frozen drinks, and beer/wine. Food options include bakery items, sandwiches, parfaits, smoothies, etc.. Not a ton of seating, but it’s quite cozy if you find a spot. Baristas are skilled and friendly. Price
We had an out of the box request and the server behind the counter tonight (11/11) was absolutely DELIGHTFUL and so helpful!! I wish I had caught her name. Thank you for the tea!
I genuinely don't think I've ever had a bad experience here, and I go all the time since I work nearby. I've tried iced teas, lemonades, hot & iced coffee, different lattes like the Cinnamon Bun and Spicy Mocha, and even had a spiked smoothie at one point. Also solid on the flavors, never tastes wat
Great atmosphere, good coffee, great choice. Place seems to be understaffed, so make sure to give them enough time to make you a cup of joe. Their chai tea latte is quite expensive, but well worth the try. Outside seating is limited btw.
Brownie was AMAZING! They had frozen lemonade which was refreshing during the 97 degree weather! Cashier was helpful.
Ok, I am a huge cookie guy. I rarely meet a cookie that I do not love. However these are some of the vest cookies I have ever eaten. They are crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside. Tried the chocolate chip, the oatmeal raisin, the lemon bar - all excellent. I highly recommend.
We only got frozen lemonade but they were both real good. They also had several treats that looked very tempting.
Needed some coffee on a brisk morning, within walking distance from the Battery. The guy behind the counter was handling the rush like a champ & playing great tunes. The latte was superb as well! Best coffee shop I have been to in a very long time.
Had an Irish cream frappe and a ginger molasses cookie. The cookie was incredible. Moist (lisps) and delicious. The scone was good too. Another room featured a stocked bookshelf that seemed pretty nifty.
