Cuban Gypsy Pantry - Charleston - Photo album

Great food, great prices, and great atmosphere. My husband and I ordered a Cuban sandwich with the green fries and coconut shrimp with black beans and rice. Both dishes were delicious, but, if you were to only order one, I would choose the Cuban with green fries. I also loved the free cucumber water
I saw this place advertised on the news and originally wanted to stop in and try the new North Charleston location but they were closed on Sunday. So, I headed to the location downtown. As a starter I tried the chicken empanada. The inner portion was bland and the outer portion was fried perfectly.
If you’re sitting there reading this review and you have yet to go, just know you are missing out. The goodness that is in this place. Dear lord. Never having Cuban food from a restaurant, this is amazing. The flavor combinations are breathtaking.
Visiting from Dallas TX, and it was our first time here! Love it! Food was really really good, very tasty, definitely would come again . Staff is very nice. You need to come here and give it a try. No regrets. 😋
Awesome cuban food. Plantains, churros, Tres leches cake, and cafe con leche amongst all their other amazing food were incredible. A/C wasnt working but felt like we were outside dining in Havana!
Awesome food. Friendly staff. Pork tacos, rice and beans were absolutely perfect. Prices were reasonable. We ate there two days in row.
The best Cuban sandwich I've ever had (and I've tried a lot)! Don't even get me started on the Green Fries loaded with cilantro, parmesan, diced pickles and some sort of Cuban crack green sauce that was DELICIOUS! I only ate half and am stuffed. I'll be back Cuban Gypsy Pantry! Thank you for bringin
Quaint and cozy Cuban eatery in the heart of Charleston a quick walk from king st and college of Charleston. We got the authentic Cuban and green fries.. yum omg yum. I had THOUGHT I’d had a Cuban before in the past we’ll I thought wrong until I came here! The food is authentic, they decor and music
This is the type of restaurant where after eating, you ask yourself, "why can't I cook like that?" This chef is an artist. Today I had the "tres leches" dessert, it was meant for the gods ❤. Humans are not worthy enough to indulge in this for $5. 5+ stars, very friendly staff. Absolutely would/will
Authentic flavors and textures of Cuban food. As good as, if not better than, any I’ve had in Tampa. We’re only here for a few days and considering coming back again! What a great find.
