Some street parking and a parking lot not too far away. We got there right when they opened. It took awhile as I was the first one to show up and the server didn't greet me until about 5 or so minutes later. I do recommend the Fried pickles, those were delicious. Friendly server overall but food did take some time. Everyone else's food came but my shrimp and grits didn't come until we mentioned it but I got my food probably 7-10 minutes later than everyone else. Food was good, I had some of my fiances beef Brisket hash and that was delicious as well.

A must go! Tomatoes/burrata/peaches/chicken/cocktails and great service! Reeve was our server and he was phenomenal! So great that we came back the next day! (Deserts are wonderful…as pictured)

Made a lunchtime reservation, but probably didn’t need it. Food was really good - I ordered chicken tenders, same breading as the fried chicken. Amazing. I also ordered fried pickles, their sauce is slightly sweet, not was I was expecting. Staff was very friendly. Bananas pudding dessert good, but slightly bland - I was expecting more flavor. Overall, would go again.

Visiting Charleston for the first time, we randomly picked a place that looked looked like a good place to eat. I was so glad we chose Rudy Royale! Danielle, our server was very pleasant and helpful. The ambiance inside was relaxing, (and the bathrooms were clean). But We chose outdoor dining and the ambiance was just as nice. I recommend the Notorious Chicken Sandwich, it was DELICIOUS!

The chicken and dumplings with gnocchi was absolutely amazing! I could have liked the bowl clean! The sauce was rich and delicious, the chicken was so tender it cut with my spoon, and the gnocchi was perfect. Great service, unique atmosphere. 100% would come back for those chicken and dumplings!

I can't say I had the pleasure of full-on dining here, but my wife and I stopped in for drinks at the bar. I couldn't resist the deviled eggs app (I think it was only $3!), which was delicious. Atmosphere was very nice, and our bartender was extremely helpful and fun to talk with, giving us advice on other places to check out. Definitely recommend, at least for drinks and apps!

The food is extremely good and super satisfying. The fried chicken is crunchy and flavorful, they also bread the fries so they're crunchy. Being fried it's definitely oily, and I felt that somewhat after I ate but I enjoyed the meal.

We were traveling with our dog and figured if we saw a spot with outdoor eating, we wouldn’t have to return our dog to the car. My husband ordered the steak and fries and I ordered the salmon. Not only were we asked how we wanted our proteins cooked , they were also cooked to those specifications. My salmon was actually the best salmon I’ve ever had at a restaurant!!! Our waiter was prompt, efficient and friendly. Great place! Thanks!

Had lunch at Rudy Royale. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered fried chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, corn bread, and cracked potatoes. The cornbread and potatoes came out first. Our waiter failed to inform us that the skillet was hot (straight out of hell fire hot) so my partner burnt his hand on it. The cornbread and potatoes were both delicious. The chicken sandwich was large, but heavily covered in hard, almost burnt breading and it was extremely salty, so much so, that it overpowered the coleslaw and pickles on the sandwich. My partner didn’t think it was as salty. Would like to return and try other dishes. All in all, a good first experience.
