Lovely lunch on the outdoor patio. The shrimp roll could have used some spice as could have the crab cake, but overall a sweet lunch. The beet salad also could have been upped a notch with a bit more red wine vinegar...
We had made reservations based on reviews. So happy we did. We were quickly greeted and told “Happy Anniversary”...as we were seated, John our waiter arrived with two glasses of champagne ! We were so impressed that they greeted us in such a manner.
Our food was delicious! We enjoyed as much food as possible! The She Crab soup was delicious along with the fried green tomatoes, lump crab cake and mahi mahi. Thank you Blossom and staff (John)for a great meal and a 25th Anniversary we will not forget!
Again an outstanding experience! P.E.I. mussels were spectacular and the chef of the gumbo deserves a statue!!!
And John, a hell of a waiter! Great, I love this place and will be back soon!!!
Thanks to the whole Blossom-Team!
Beautiful architecture and ambience! The food was quite delicious and delivered promptly. Everyone was gracious and helped me with my extreme food allergies. I was able to have some of my favorites anyway! Loved the butter beans! Our server was personable and kind – thank you Jacob! We will definitely come again on our next visit to Charleston!
Was with 6 co-workers in town on business from Arkansas. We sat at the bar. Courtney and Chelsie were our bartenders and waitresses. The food was on point, the drinks were perfect, the service and hospitality from the girls were worth the experience. We will be back when in town.

Loved our experience here! The food was all excellent, even the bread and butter was amazing! We had the salmon, scallops and catfish and all were delish! Highly recommend the praline dessert also! Service was also excellent! Will go back next time we are in town!
I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the seafood platter. Then we had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream on Valentine's 2018. The atmosphere was beautiful and the wait staff was amazing. Can't wait to go again with hubby.
Wonderful seating, service, and seafood. Had the scallops with Brussel Sprouts. Delicious.
New employee-female waitress, smiles all the time, forgot her name.. was helpful with the menu and service. Will return next August with the rest of the family when we vacation in Hilton Head.
We were extremely lucky and thankful to get in without reservation! We loved the food and the atmosphere. Very recommend!
Fabulous happy hour, fresh oysters & the best shrimp & grits I have ever had...oh wait! It was my first shrimp & grits I have ever eaten and now I want more! 😁
Great food and service! Loved the blue crab ravioli! Enjoyed dinner outside on a lovely evening!

Fantastic restaurant! Loved the atmosphere, our server was delightful, and the food was excellent. We had the she-crab soup, roasted beet salad, swordfish, and scallops. All was so tasty.
We had the BEST experience here Saturday afternoon when we dined for lunch in their courtyard. Micah provided great service and recommendations. Mahi tacos and chicken wrap were great. Collards were excellent! Highly recommend
We were delighted with the service and food! It was the perfect ending to a very special trip to Charleston celebrating my daughter’s upcoming high school graduation. Shrimp and Grits were to die for...💜
My wife and I have been to Blossom several times over the years. This time was for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had the flounder. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We split the red velvet bread pudding that was topped with strawberry ice cream. It was so good! With college graduations and the beginning of the tourist season, Charleston was very busy and Blossom was no exception (glad we had a reservation). Service was fantastic. Mimi was very attentive and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We felt so bad for her as the air conditioning was not functioning very well and it was the hottest day of the year in Charleston (so far 🤪). It was a great evening and we will continue to use Blossom as our “go-to” for special occasions.
I’ve been coming here for over 20 years now, and the food never disappoints. Love the change to the P.E.I. mussels.. the coconut is a great touch for a light appetizer!
We loved Blossom!!! Our waiter, Justin, was the best. If you are there ask for him!!
Completely amazed by the quality and flavor of the food!

One of the best meals ever And service was spot on ! Wish we were staying longer, would love to go back again!
The service was fantastic. Our food was amazing. This has been one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston for a very long time. It’s as good as it was the day it opened.
Excellent! WE had the oysters in the photo, crab filled ravioli and salmon. YUM, YUM, YUM!
The food was so good as was the service and ambience. We will definitely put it on our list of places to return to when back in Charleston
Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!!!!
Short wait & excellent service.
First visit and I’ll be back!!! The service was top notch!!! Let me tell you about the red velvet bread pudding.... can you say OH MY AMAZING!!!! I would go back just for that!!! Mahi was delicious as well and the artichoke dip top notch! Heck, even the pink cider was delicious so all the way around a phenomenal dinner!!!!
Always a great meal and top notch service!
The food and service were excellent. Our appetizer and lunch were served in a timely manner.
Will definitely be back.
The food was outstanding, as was the service! Kudos to the pastry chef ! Best cheesecake ever!
Service, food and atmosphere were top notch. Loved it.
Oysters were fresh and they had very good selection ; the shrimps and grits and the mahi-mahi were delicious! The service was excellent!
Normally don't get desert was told to try Red Velvet Bread Pudding it was delicious delicious delicious. This was my second visit and will definitely return
Very nice place. Ceviche was quite citrus forward, but truly wonderfully full flavored. Good selection of tasty oysters. Peel and eat shrimp was very delicious with their house seasonings and really quality cocktail sauce. Wish I could have consumed more of their menu.
Solid restaurant. The service was great and our waitress was quite nice.
The restaurant is very nice, and we liked the atmosphere there.
We had the pimento cheese fritters app to start. I was disappointed there were so few of them (5 or 6 about the size of a grape) and while the fritters were good they were not good enough to keep me from regretting spending the money on them.
For entree’s we got the fried seafood platter and the shrimp and grits.
The fried seafood platter was okay. It was a generic fried fish platter with french fries, hushpuppies, fried shrimp, fried scallops, and fried fish. The fish is the only part of the meal that I would criticize, it was really sub-par, very oily, and it reminded me of the low quality Cod fish that you get at the Long John Silvers fast food chain.
The Shrimp and grits were really very good, and while I wished there was a little more On the plate the food itself was a treat.
Much bigger inside and more well appointed than the impression from the outside. The waiter was enthusiastic and the place was busy so the service wasn’t too fast. But still enjoyed each plate. The flavors melded nicely. And Everything was delicious. Portions were a good size and will play did. Everyone left full and happy. Would definitely go back
We absolutely loved our dining experience at Blossom!! We started with dozen oysters - fabulous!! My husband got the sea scalloped meal and was convinced his was the best. I got grilled swordfish with asparagus and grits and my mouth melted. My son got tuna with gnocchi and corn with beans, he would have preferred a bit more rare, but still very happy, and our friend had Mahi grilled with potatoes and asparagus. We were stuffed by the time we left. And our server was just as sweet as can be. Definitely will be returning.
When I got a rain at waterfront park, I decided to enter this restaurant because it was the closest restaurant. From outside, it looked a small restaurant, but they have plenty of seats inside. I enjoyed She Crab soup and Shrimp & Grits. Soup was thick and the bread was also tasty for having with soup. Grits was also good too. It was a coincidence to find this restaurant but food was delicious and servers were nice. Recommendable place.
Had a delicious meal here last night. My grouper was done perfectly and the gnocchi were the beat I have ever had. My wife’s shrimp and grits was also delicious. Not super fancy, but very comfortable. Service was good. Would certainly go again.
Amazing Oyster Raw Bar and Seafood Resturant. Staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. She Crab Soup is amazing. This is a sister resturant to Magnolia that is right down the street. There is plenty of seating options inside as well as outdoor seating if it's a nice night.
Been here a few times. Great menu... not just seafood. Get the Fried Green Tomato appetizer, you want regret it.
Sunday brunch menu is great + good strong coffee!
The salmon dinner for thanksgiving was wonderful... Caesar salad and spinach dip yum. drinks were great and strong... the red velvet dessert was really good

Service was good. However, the risotto we got was quite undercooked! They took it back in to the kitchen but still didn’t get it right. The fish and roasted vegetables we had instead were just perfect though. I’d recommend they check on their quality before they bring out the dishes.
Soooooo glad we found out about this place. We were set on going to another very highly rated restaurant for fresh fish and a local Charlestonian overheard us and steered us to Blossom. Our waitress Jana welcomed us with complimentary champagne for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had the best overall meal we have had during our stay in Charleston (and that says a lot since we visited a lot of the highly recommended places). Fantastic mahi mahi dish and amazing fresh red snapper catch of the day. Wish we were here another day to go back. Soooooo nice to find a place that broils and grills fresh fish opposed to frying it. And it was amazing!
Great place for brunch. Eggs Benedict and Mediterranean baked egg dishes were great. Also had very good service.

Nice place with professional and good service. Tasty plates, some good work in the dishes. Excellent wine selection. Will definitely come back. Note for le Chef: the bacon was somehow overwhelming over the clams, maybe cut in very small / like panure would leave more room for the shellfish taste - just a suggestion ;)! Really not that expensive for the quality. $56 for entree, main and two glasses of wine. Bravo!
Top notch. This was our spoil ourselves dinner during our trip and boy did we! The lobster artichoke dip is one of the best dips I have ever tasted. The Oysters Rockefeller were divine. Perfect. My girlfriend had flounder and I had scallops with shrimp. The bread was awesome too! The vanilla bean Crème brûlée was the perfect finish. Not too sweet. A hidden treasure that wasn't recommended to us but I recommend to you.
Delicious shrimp and grits. Great sauce. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Service was okay. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc. I particularly liked that I could choose between a glass, a half or a bottle. One doesn’t usually find those options.
Fantastic service from John. Great low key vibe. Really good food. The Mahi Mahi was light, really good, but could have used a bit more flavor. The filet was top notch. Try the belini.
Blossom did NOT disappoint. Great service! Delicious food! Awesome options! I will be back again. 😀
Had a couple old fashioneds, this beautiful shrimp and grits, and the artichoke crab dip. Unbelievable meal, incredible service, and an upscale atmosphere. Would recommend heavily.
