I liked my dinner experience here on vacation last month. Very beautiful restaurant. Wow. It was a busy Monday night. The service was good though. Drinks delicious. Apps good. We had 3 of the same steak dish at the table that were all supposed to be cooked Medium. They were all rare. We tried eating
When looking up a place to eat I put in romantic. This place had wonderful reviews so I was able to snag a table for dinner for my husband and I. This place is loud. Definitely a place to gather (Big Groups) and chit chat. I did not get a romantic vibe out of this place especially if you just wanted
Got there at 3 but the rest of our party didn’t finally get there till after 430. They let us stay for the dinner menu that started at 5. They have a middle day menu with limited items between lunch and dinner. We started with one server, closed out with her. Then ended with another. They were both
Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Brunch ends at 330, and then they have a very limited menu until 5, so something to consider if you’re going during that time period. The drinks and food were delicious, and we definitely want to come back for an actual dinner soon. The space is very cool an
This is my partner and I’s absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Charleston. We use the tiniest of occasions as an excuse to dine here. The service has never been anything but stellar, each server we have had has made it a point to be personable and go above and beyond the average server industry worker.
Came here for brunch on a Saturday right as they opened. The atmosphere is incredible, such a cool space. Everyone on the staff was really kind. The beet and barata salad was incredible, but I wish I’d gotten something other than the farmhouse sandwich—not that it wasn’t good I just think I might ha
The place was boomin, so we ended up sitting on the patio, in July, but they went out of their way to seat us in the shade. We got to see the interior as we walked through, which is where the atmosphere is at. Our server, Grant, was awesome! He made great recommendations and catered to us even when
Church and Union is a great restaurant overall with good management and customer service. The apps and entrees are tasty. My main critiques have to deal with the deserts we tried. The white chocolate lava cake was definitely not a lava cake. Nothing came out of it. Overall it was ok. The peanut but
This was such a great place to sit down and have dinner. My mom has been here a couple of times before and said it was a staple place we needed to eat at during our trip with another friend. And she was right! The service was so kind and our waiter, Rhett, was extremely helpful in understanding what
Such a neat spot with amazing food! The cocktail I had, Sailor's Delight, was perfectly balanced. For dinner, I had the hand rolled ravioli with sausage, 10/10 would recommend. I wish we had room for dessert bc the dessert at the table next to us looked amazing! Side note, if you don't like crowded
I had the filet and it melted in my mouth! So flavorful. Also a very cool venue. Unique. Others had the seared scallops and the braided ravioli. There was not a bad meal at our table. We shared all of the flavors and had a great night!
Does it get more perfect than dining on an incredible meal in a beautifully refurbished church in Charleston? Recommend this spot to anyone visiting who is looking for the quintessential Charleston experience. Service is great, food and cocktails are phenomenal and the ambiance is second to none.
Fried chicken is huge and delicious. The ravioli a little too salty, Ceasaur salad was not like we are used to. Seemed like it had Balsamic in it or something else a little too rich. Lamb burger my wife loved ... especially the sauce.
What a beautiful restaurant. I would give a 6 star if I could. Food and drinks were great. The ghost drink was specifically good. The paddy melt was very good both there and for leftovers.
Amazing atmosphere and art. The food was equally amazing. The service top notch. A must go restaurant when you visit Charleston. My only warning is there is only one vegetarian entree option and they run out fast. I’d love this place even more if they had more vegetarian main courses.
Great restaurant! The interior is really nice and the food was excellent. The presentation of the food was also very nice. This was my first restaurant in Charleston, and it did not disappoint. Service was nice as well.
Really delicious food that's not overly complicated. Try the fried chicken BLT. Pretty delicious! They do have the capability to offer gluten free options, though I would suggest other restaurants for that.
We were in town for my birthday ! Made reservation over open table for party of 12. One of the best experiences we had in Charleston. Our server was Jake, he was very attentive even recommended good bars made sure I had a great birthday dinner. ALL of our food was amazing. Worth paying for and all g
