This place is a great local spot in downtown Charleston. The food was great, service was on point, and atmosphere. I’d say if you are in Charleston, then swing by and check them out. It’ll be worth it.
Only minor complaint, old fashioned was little too sweet for me and a lot of ice. I’d prefer a single rock usually.

Came here by recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint! They were only offering their piccolo menu as it was after lunch and before dinner. However it still had all the bangers on there. I got the Shrimp n Grits, which I'm not a big fan of grits, but the bartender said to go for it. And it was amazing! Such great flavor from the andouille sausage and broth made the dish. And the grits were fantastic!
Bartender was fantastic, made great recommendations and even offered me a taste of scotch because it came up in discussion with other patrons at the bar. That's great service. I'll be back for a full meal next time!

Cozy interior with dim lighting. There was live music that wasn't too overwhelming and you can still have a conversation with people at your table. Although I had a reservation and arrived on time, my party ended up waiting 15+ min for the table. Dishes were creative. My favorite was probably the BBQ tuna which was served with the fattest fried oysters. Would return again for another wonderful dining experience.

Shrimp & Grits and Tuna were amazing. Long-time favorites of the restaurant.
Excellent service. Live music was a little loud. White table cloth was much appreciated. It's difficult to get reservations.. we walked in at 5:30 and got one of the last tables without reservations.
Nice wine list = $$$. At least $20 per glass

We never fail to stop by SNOB for lunch when in Charleston, food and service are both excellent. I love their fried chicken liver perhaps a bit too much and order it on every visit, delicious every time. Salads are substantial and full of flavour, even their kids menu is exciting, no awful pasta with butter here. The only negative I could mention is their slightly dated interior.

This dining experience did not disappoint! We had the fresh grilled swordfish, pork chop, and lamb chops. All done perfectly
and the presentation was spot on. The mashed red potatoes were delicious. They start you off with their warm corn bread muffins which are amazing! We had the creamy banana cream pie for dessert. Overall, a GREAT dinner! Our server was excellent too.

We had our first date there six years ago and went back to celebrate our first anniversary. The food was great as always and Anna took amazing care of us. Thank you for a fantastic evening.

SNOB is a Charleston must eat at restaurant. Over 30 years coming to Kiawah, and we frequently go yo SNOB for a five-star meal. Consistently top-notch food, beautiful interior, and great service. Try what you may, and you will not be disappointed. Often now -2023- they have nightly jazz at the front. The best part is that it's not too loud. We will definitely be back.

Jordan did not lead us wrong. Had the clams for app & brooth with points was great. Torn between pork chops & BBQ tuna and was steered to tuna, was not disappointed. While sushi grade, I've never had more tender. Martini & amaretto sour were great. Will be back when in CHS!

First time there with friends, and she has been dining in the past, all the dishes we had were scrumptious, the atmosphere was Southern classic, and the service was excellent, I go into down Charleston every other month or two, and always find a new place to dine. This was a good find and will be returning soon. Highly recommend!

So good! 6 of us went for brunch on our way throughout Charleston. Definitely glad we had a reservation, as it was nonstop busy. I had the Jumbo Crab Salad with tomato salad and avacado toast, which may go down as the best brunch meal I have ever had. Others in my group shared with me bites of their picnic plate, shrimp and grits, and goat cheese asparagus mushroom omelette, all of which were extremely excellent. Complimentary cornbread was also delicious and moist. We were completely full but still managed to split a peach cobbler for dessert. Afterwards we needed to do a few laps in the outdoor market for a bit to walk off brunch. If I had it to do over I wouldn’t change a thing. I definitely recommend SNOB!

One of the best!
Beautiful warm adequately lit room.
Top notch servers.
Great cocktails. Delicious wines by the glass.
The oyster stew was amazing! Plenty of tender oysters with ham hock in a thin savory broth.
Was told they had the best shrimp and grits in a city filled with it -- they did not disappoint.
I had the Local Flounder, perfectly cooked and only lightly salted or seasoned to allow the fish flavor to sing.
And don't miss the braised collard greens. Perfect tang to complement our entrees.
Sadly no room for dessert, but a win since it means we'll have to return! 5 out of 5

Great vibe, great service, great food. The best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten and amazingly fresh crab. This place is a keeper.

Local pink trout to die for. Best creme brulee I've had since I lived on Paris. Friendly staff was great with my autistic son. White wine sangria yummy. $8 grilled cheese but my son said it was amazing.

The best of the best! We had so many good meals in Charleston. To stand out in this city is difficult but SNOB clearly does. To say the food was excellent does not really do it justice. It was creative, beautiful and so, so delicious. The attention to detail is so obvious. Our waiter was Paul who was knowledgeable, friendly and never kept us waiting for anything while never making us feel rushed. When we just slightly started to look around for the restroom, the manager came right over to make sure we did not need anything. The building is very cool and great location. No trip to Charleston will not include a visit to SNOB for us.

We arrived at lunchtime and were headed to a carriage tour. Our waiter Jeff promised he could take care of us in time. He did!!! The smoked salmon on toast with arugula salad was perfect. Lovely people, fabulous food. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Amazing! Food and service was spectacular. The best beef carpaccio my husband and I have ever eaten. If we are ever in Charleston area again, you will catch us eating here for lunch or dinner or both!
