Swig & Swine - Charleston - Photo album

We had a great meal. I got the grilled cheese brisket sandwich which was delicious. They were having a little bit of a rough night and it was room temperature not hot but I loved it just the same. The pickled vegetables were awesome and it's the first time I've ever had hash that did not have organ
Had the platter, pretty good flavors and decent portions all around. Ribs were a little dry for my taste but the chicken wings were great. Enjoyed the mac and cheese but the potato salad was amazing!! My only complaint, and it's a minor one, the parking is pretty non existent. Fun place, good food
Great barbecue! Husband had The Big Nasty sandwich with delicious coleslaw. He loved it. I had a lean chopped brisket sandwich. It was very good. I personally liked the coleslaw better than the Mac and Cheese I ordered. Try this place, we have been going there for years and it is consistently
I have wanted to come to this restaurant for a number of years now and finally got my chance. Let me tell you it did not disappoint in any way. The brisket and pork belly was smoked perfectly. The side were just as good as the mains and the meal was truly delicious. Our server was also made the expe
Charleston’s French Quarter has becoming less attractive. Newly built hotels block the panoramic bridge view and pretty much all restaurants became less approachable and more touristy. Then I found this gem just before entering the French quarter region and this place checks all the marks. Pricing
Amazing barbecue place, we bad brisket, chicken and sausage and all were great. The chicken was spiced up perfectly and the sausage was filled with spices( it tasted very much like sujuk) and it was perfectly hot and spicy. The brisket was cooked to perfection. Their peach cobbler was perfection wit
The food was amazing but the ribs were next level… whatever you want to call that. The sides were great but in all honesty we’re taking most of them back to the hotel because we simply couldn’t take a break from the meats long enough to make a dent on the sides. Kevin “the Magnificent” was patient,
Had a perfectly enjoyable lunch here today. The atmosphere was fun and casual. We sat inside in a booth but have sat outside as well and both were comfortable. Ordered a fried chicken sandwich which was pretty good and an Alagash beer. The dry rub wings are good and overall the food was pretty good.
12-27-22 SWIG & SWINE... Love the pig sign on the side of the building! Wings, brisket, pork & sausage. Sides corn pudding & collards. A good brisket, a really good sausage- one of the best! Pork mild smoke but tender & juicy. Wings were highly unusual.... peanut butter and grape jelly smoked dry-
First time at this restaurant, and it won't be my last! I had the 1/2 chicken bbq, corn pudding (or cream of corn?), and greens. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the corn was creamy and delicious, and the greens were good, too (although they were a bit sweet for my taste). I was too full to eat t
Waiters are lovely and the food gets their fast! We ordered the 4 side dish and the per pound meat. The smoked turkey and brisket were to die for. The pulled pork was a little dry. Potato salad is hands down the best thing on earth. The coleslaw was pretty bland but not terrible. We would definitely
Casual and delicious local BBQ restaurant. The chicken wings and brisket were delicious and we will be back for. Service was friendly and helpful. The peach cobbler was sweet, warm and comforting.
My wife and I first time. She’s from Texas and I’m a local and continue to tell her Texas isn’t the south, and Carolina BBQ is BETTER. Let’s just say it pained her on how GREAT Everything was! We did the $12 Monday special and 1/2lb brisket plate. We did that to maximize the value of multiple side
The service was great! They had a great happy hour! We started with wings dry rubbed. They were so good that we brought a pint of their rub.
It was our first time. My wife and I enjoyed our meal. The pulled pork and brisket were very good. The sides were also good. I would eat here again.
Incredibly good. Had the "pork puppies", pulled pork sandwich and mac n cheese. Good sauce assortment, good portion sizes, good waiter, good drink selection, good everything.
This is real BBQ! The brisket is always top notch and the pulled pork is to die for. The sides are plentiful and delicious. After eating your meal you won't have room for dessert, but please don't skip it. Get dessert to go. You won't be sorry.
Picked up Lunch here with Tailgate option number 1 for 10 grown men and 2 women! They all ate well & was good left over! Delicious! Everyone loved it and we’ll be doing again! Thanks Y’all! And the customer service was great! Will be back for lunch or dinner. Chicken wasn’t dry!!!
I hate this place. If only because this was our first experience of Carolina Cooking. The bar has been set. And what a height it is at. I have tried BBQ all over, and this by far had been the best I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. The meat practically melted in my mouth. I tried
