High atmosphere and low health standards Went with my friend and her family today. Atmosphere was lovely, everyone wearing masks. Once we were seated, our waiter (i think it was Joel but not sure) asked for drinks. Even though he wrote down our drinks, he still mixed them up frequently and was something he continued to do with drinks as well as cards when we paid. There was also a big miscommunication about some items. My friend's mother specifically asked for her burrito sauce on the side but was put in the burrito anyway. My friends got the carafe samplers of mimosas only to be told 2 of the flavors were out. We were also informed of cheesecake for dessert and once we ordered it we were informed that was out as well. Overall just no communication between front and back of house. The BIGGEST issue was that there was BRIGHT GREEN mold on my friend's bread that was noticeable to me across the table. They did end up covering her and giving her a replacment take home meal (no word yet how that turned out) but we were just shocked to have an overall letdown and huge food quality issue given the rave reviews. If it had succeeded our expectations i wouldn't mind the distance to experience it but this was NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Such a letdown despite the beautiful atmosphere.

There's no reason not to visit this place for beautiful views of the hidden jem "the chick", great food, great drinks, the BEST customer service! Go, just go see Rocky, Joel, Wheeler, Amber and any of the friendly staff. Oh! And Charlie will come pick you up in the water taxi. Awesome local business, I totally support!

This place was way out of our way. We were in Williamsburg Va on Vacation my wife look for seafood place on restaurant.com before we went. This Was a great choice very nice quiet. Great friendly staff on the water, outside dinning if you like and all safety protocol's for Covid. Dinner was great enjoyed the evening thanks. I recommend we this place to my boss who has family in Richmond when he come back from Florida... Thanks for a great night out and dinner. Duane
