Had the salmon and penne pasta special. One of the best meals I have had in ages. Enough for two!! And $4 wines for happy hour!! Wait staff was great.

Best seafood in Columbia area. Well worth the drive. Love the crab cakes, fried oysters, and flounder. The grits are amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

Hard to find good fried oysters around here. These were mighty fine. And my standards are very high. I have no complaints and that's a very high mark. We'll be be back next week. Two thumbs up!

We both had the crab-stuffed flounder. Sherry had sweet potato fries and hush puppies and I had the Adluh grits and hush puppies for our sides. Was absolutely delicious! .

This is the best restaurant Chapin has to offer. Combining great food with a unique atmosphere, "Catch" is the perfect place to visit with friends, spoil your family, or treat that special someone to the night they deserve. 5 stars!

After passing by many times, decided to stop in for a quick lunch. So glad I did- lunch was delicious! 😋 Tried the Cajun shrimp pasta and was very pleased. Its not on the lunch menu, but the chef was able to accomodate. Plenty of shrimp and sausage in this dish. The sauce is tasty and flavorful. I would have tolerated more spice... but I love spicy foods. Our waitress was sweet and very attentive during a busy lunch day. Even though the sign posted on the front door noted the lack of staff, our waitress was prompt and the wait for lunch wasn't bad. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. Will definitely be back!

Delicious seafood at such incredible prices! We live in Chapin and can't believe how lucky we are to have such a high quality restaurant with incredible seafood and specials at such affordable prices. The staff is always super friendly and they take reservations. The meals have always been spectacular with the freshest seafood. There are multiple options for the spices. The garlic mashed potatoes are out of this world! The fish is cooked to perfection. Love, love, love this restaurant! And it's in a quiet little spot not far off route 26. Anyone traveling who might want a quality dinner would find this gem to be a welcome place to eat. And for the record, I just like to promote the local businesses, so I have no motive other than sharing and hoping to bring more business into these struggling, family owned restaurants.

Excellent food at a great price! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is quaint. However, the five stars go to the fresh seafood cooked to perfection.

This is a broiled shrimp, take-out, dinner with collard greens & steamed veggies. It was very good. The only thing I'd do differently, is go heavier on the shrimp spices but they were still very tasty. Definitely give this place a try. We ordered 5 other meals and everyone was pleased.

Catch 22 is an amazing local seafood restaurant in Chapin, SC. The small venue offers a great atmosphere that is casual but excellent quality. The menu is full of moderately priced, made to order seafood dishes. This is not a fried seafood buffet. They do offer fried foods and Po Boys and lunch specials. Be sure to try the Honey, Pecan encrusted Salmon or the Parmesan Pesto Grouper when they have it. The service is excellent. Your food is prepared timely and with amazing taste and delivered with a smile, that can be seen even with the mask on their faces. The bar offers a full selection of beer, wine and liquor. Catch 22 is perfect for a mid-week lunch, meeting or a quiet night out in Chapin, SC. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Very friendly staff. Our waitress, Alyssa, was great. Clean, casual, & loud environment... great for families. Food was good. Portions were small (compared to other places with similar food options for the same price.) I ordered a Seafood Platter (Broiled Shrimp & Fried Oysters) and received 5 Oysters, 6 medium sized Shrimp, & a side salad ($17.99). They have a variety of mixed drinks and beer. While they do not have the options listed on a menu anywhere... they DO HAVE beer on tap. Booths, tables and bar stools are available indoors. Outdoor seating is also available. Masks are not required for customers. Most employees wore masks. If you plan on going late in the evening... I'd encourage you to call ahead. The hours stated that they closed at 9pm. We arrived around 7:55pm. When we walked in we were told they were no longer seating folks because they closed in a hour and the kitchen was backed up. We were very understanding and figured we'd find another local place to try as we'd driven over an hour to try this place. (Of course, the staff didn't know that). As we were walking out they came back and said they were given approval by the manager to seat us. We were very grateful. Even having been told that they were backed up... the wait for the food wasn't very long at all.

So glad we chose to pull off & try this place along our route! The prices were excellent and the food so good. We ordered the cream cheese & crab wontons as an appetizer and they were delicious! We also loved the blackened filet tips. Between the five of us, we tried crab cakes, grouper bites, flounder, & shrimp-all were excellent. I would never eat grits but theirs were good. We chose the covered outdoor dining -the kids could get energy out without disturbing other guests. It was beautiful & peaceful (despite my kids). Service was excellent (thank you, Katie!) and we'd definitely eat here again on our way through this area again.
