This place is fantastic. To begin with, 100% sanitation rate!!! I'm a cardiac patient so I have to be picky. My favorite is the turkey burger topped with roasted beet and goat cheese. You can have about any kind of burger you can think of. You won't be disappointed.

Had the Brunch Burger, and it was excellent...yolk was just runny enough, bacon crunchy, and the English muffin was the perfect touch...

Great food! Always fresh, hand cut fries are awesome. Cajun burger is off the hook! Not to mention it's in Chapel Hill! Great prelude to watching the Heels play!

The burgers are delicious. If you order a double or triple, you best be hungry. There are many possible combinations and also non-beef options. Everything we had was delicious......

When I go to a restaurant for a burger I want to have the option to customize it into a heart stopping masterpiece. Here I can do that or choose one of the masterpieces they already have available.

Gluten free hamburger buns. & more toppings than you can shake a stick at. Like 7 different cheeses alone. Nice owner as well :)

We visit BUNS every time we are in Chapel Hill. You can not beat the burgers, shakes, service and atmosphere of this conveniently located place. I am always excited to learn of the new creative variations of burgers that will be on the menu. My personal favorite is one that has roasted beets and cheese on it - fabulous! And my husband LOVES the hand spun salted caramel shakes. A great selection of microbrews are avaialable too. Stop in and check it out. You will want to return again and again too. Congratulations for the well deserved Best Burger award again in 2014!

One of the best places on Franklin Street. Loved it during undergrad and now as an alumni. Even during a pandemic, they had great service, food, sauces, and a short wait time for the food. I got the Yoko Ono - a retired burger that's savory, and fries with the dragon sauce.

Absolutely delicious!! I got the chorizo burger and it was so delicious and filling! The avocado was the perfect touch to balance out the spiciness of the burger!

First time ordering and the 2 gentleman were outstanding with their customer service. Very attentive and precise with their skills. I highly recommend and approve of their way of cooking. Everything was super fresh, and tasted very clean and like you taste the good freshness still in it. Fries were great! Price is worth it! Come order there for dine in and take out. You won't be disappointed.

The Carolina burger is so good--combination of chili and slaw is amazing. Put hot sauce on it. Hot dogs have some yummy char on them, good relish and kraut. Staff is nice! Can be a bit loud in there.

I am only in Chapel Hill once a year and always bring my staff to Buns for a casual dinner the first night. Great burgers and sandwiches served with more fries than anyone should consume. Dipping sauces are fantastic.

As far as I'm concerned, this restaurant is an indelible part of Chapel Hill. Always delicious, the service is awesome, and the fries are irresistible. Vegan/veg-friendly options too, that are equally good. You don't want to miss it.

Well guess what? You can find a real burger in Chapel Hill. Fun place hidden in plain sight. Park in lot across the street. Hand cut FF and fresh toppings. This is a $9+ dollar burger place so be prepared to spend.
