Best sushi ever, lots of appetizers--salad, edamame, etc. This is now my favorite sushi place!! The happy hour is pretty nice if you can eat a lot of sushi. Highly recommend!!!!

I am from Alaska and have never enjooyed fresher sashimi even if I caught it myself! The staff is delightful, engaging, attentive and friendly. Pancho (the owner) is so outgoing and funny he should have his own Food Network Show or be an Iron Chef competitor. I have never had better Sushi or a better time! I had so much fun that I will be back on a regular basis. I would give Mido Sushi ten stars if that were an option as it is the very best at any price anywhere (and I travel frequently).

I come here for lunch on a semi-regular basis. Fresh fish, classic rolls, cheap combo deals. Good service. I like this place.
Excellent sushi for Arizona. Hard to find good sushi in this landlock state, I am glad I live close by Mido Sushi. Very affordable for lunch.
Fantastic Sushi. Great sushi is about attention to detail, freshness and subtlety. Throw in incredible happy hour pricing and I can't think of anything more pleasing to my sushi addicted self. I discovered and learned about sushi from an incredible classically trained sushi chef in Tucson and every place I go tends to fall short of my expectations of what sushi should be, until now. These guys do a great job. My son loves to go and catch the hot towel thrown by the sushi chef!

My fiancé has been coming here for 10+ years. We recently moved back to the area and ordered take out tonight. They were incredibly nice when picking up our order and the food is top notch. Definitely recommend.
Some of the best sushi I have had. We tried 6 different rolls and some nigiri. I enjoyed every roll but the rainbow roll was definitely my favorite. All the workers were great and friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly! I would defiantly recommend Mido to anyone and everyone.
We started eating here back in 2010. We went back there last night and everything is delicious. My favorite dish is the Beef Yakisoba noodles. They use to do all you can eat but I think they stop during COVID and its price per plate now. They have good prices for the sushi and it's very fresh. The staff was very nice and their portion sizes are very generous. If you go there on a birthday, they will play music with disco lights for you. Great food, good price and great atmosphere.
Shoutout to the chefs for making these delicious fish nigiri, and rolls. I heavily enjoyed the cozy vibe and servers here. One of the things that was nice about this sushi place was that they showed the different types of fish and nigiri dishes. (I would personally recommend squid nigiri) Going along with that, the sushi was FRESH!!! The rolls tasted so great and almost light, even the fried. Overall the best sushi place I have been to.
Good good good. So good. Service, food, atmosphere. We live in central az and like to try places when we come down this would be worth a trip itself. Ordered a ton of food for 3 big eaters and was so reasonable.
I’ve been a regular here for ten years now and I’ve lived in Asia and all over the us to include having eaten sushi in a lot of different places in the valley. Mido’s remains my favorite. Chef really does make the best sushi. The temperature is always perfect and the quality of fish is superb. I don’t know where they get the salmon from, but it’s the best raw salmon I’ve ever eaten. My kids also agree and love Chef’s sushi so much that they won’t eat sushi from anywhere else. We really like the atmosphere and the rest of the menu as well. It’s always given a place to eat that’s welcoming to families and feels laid back. Chef, you’re the best. Thanks for 10 years of amazing sushi
Best sushi in Phoenix! Been coming here for a decade and it's the best kept sushi secret. Very reasonably priced, awesome ownership, fresh and tasty fish. I'll be coming as long as they are open
This might be the best bargain for sushi in the entire East Valley. They have a happy hour from 5 PM to 9:30 PM Monday through Thursday. Sushi for three people with drinks was still under $40.
The service was great, the food very good, the only reason it got less than five full stars was they have no real choices for dessert here. You’ll just have to go somewhere else.
Actually, I take back my good review. Don’t come here. We don’t want to get too crowded for when we come back.

This place had the best salmon. It's super silky. Nigiri had very generous slices of fish on top. HH is almost all hours Mon -Thursday. Nicest people work here as well.
