First time in Arizona and this place did not disappoint! My server 'Johnny' was very personable and is becoming a nurse, so of you eat here make sure to take care if him!

We had dinner and and a side of All Night Fiesta 🥳 🎊 🎉
The staff was very friendly even though it was very busy and stressful for them. They accommodated us on the last hour of kitchen closing. The food was actually pretty good. I had a torta of carne asada it was really good. Everyone in my table seemed to enjoy what they ordered. Tacos, enchiladas, quesadilla. All good.
And a great variety of cold affordable beers. All you want for party night. We stayed through the night for dancing. The DJ was good kept the party moving. Great times.

I've been here twice now with my family and it's been a relaxing experience both times. Wait staff is always prompt and polite. Indoor and outdoor seating are both good. Food is good but of the few things I've had nothing stands out among Mexican food as exceptional. This place is worth your time and money though.

Great place! Had the Shrimp Chilie Relleno which was fantastic and nice and spicy too! The guacamole was great as well! Had a few drinks in celebration of a buddies new baby. The place was super accommodating on short notice! And the waiter was super friendly and totally okay with splitting the checks for us which made the night so Mich nicer!

Had dinner here Dec 1, crowded due tumbleweed tree lighting. Food and drinks tasted great, service was bad. He took our order in a timely manner, but had to wait for drinks to be delivered, then chips were served, then he bought one of the party entree, then another, then 5 minutes later the last members entree. Then.... he finally brought the silverware. There wasn't a crowd at this time, so the place wasn't busy, but serving our table didn't seem like a priority.

The food and drinks were positively delicious!!! The service by ischmael (so sorry about spelling) was spectacular. We had to sit inside and would have preferred to sit outside but because we had a big party there wasn’t any room. We had ahi tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, taco salad, chicken and cheese quesadilla, and enchilada. Really outstanding food.

Great music and atmosphere! We went on a Saturday night, make sure you don't bring anything sharp, no hats! I had to stash my mini pocket Leatherman in a bush because it's considered a weapon. Very strict on security but that's not a bad thing. Just go prepared knowing that.

EXCELLENT food, service and drinks. Will be going back, and highly recommend El Zocala. We went with a group of 10, everyone ordered something different and it was all great. The seared Ahi Tuna tacos were INCREDIBLE!
