Definitely one of the best places in CU to get healthy food. The cofee was great and the acai bowls are amazing. The staff was always very friendly and gave very good service. I hope they open again :(

Coffee is out of this world. I had an acia berry snack - to die for! But the best part was talking to the owner about his passion for coffee and the CU community. Wow. I will definitely going back!

Finally made my first visit to Bossa Nova. It is setup very well and seems like a perfect place to sit and enjoy coffee and acai bowls! The coffee I got was delicious and I was offered a sample of the acai that goes into their bowls. Definitely will get one in a future visit!

My new favorite coffee spot with really cool atmosphere and exceptional coffee. Emma is terrific and fun to talk to and provides great service. When you are downtown, make sure to stop in and try it out. I can't wait to come back and try an acai bowl.

Nice place with unique drinks. The Oasis Turkish coffee with cardamom is the bizness -- takes some time like all great coffee but well, well worth it!
If you've seen the Bee Acai Bowls teuck around, this is where to get them in a storefront. And Saturday a.m. they had live music which is a great ambiance

THE SPOT TO BE! I have not had a better cup of hot or iced coffee in Champaign. The team there is so generous and thoughtful in welcoming you into their cafe and helping you make choices that fit your desire. The food is fresh, local, and delicious. Their Acai bowls are OUT-standing.

I can't believe how awesome this new coffee joint is. The prices are incredibly low. The walls are lined with quality artwork. There is a place to charge at literally every seat, open WiFi no password required. I've not seen many new stores this well put together. The owner really knows that he's doing. They have some of my favorite single origins. Try their unique superfood bowls. The texture is like ice cream and it's unbelievable how naturally sweet. 😺🌞🐵😁At only one dollar sign 💲, I give them five big stars. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

New acai bowls to Bossa Nova are a must try! Delicious local ingredients and great service. The coffee is also wonderful and each cup is hand made to the customers liking. Would highly recommend trying both products. Atmosphere is very trendy and clean inside. Parking is metered and is checked often by the meter attendants

My favorite cafe in town!
You can get a solid breakfast/lunch at the $10 or under price point. They have tons of fresh and unique snack/drink options. Speaking of drinks the coffee here is absolutely top notch. The owner is dedicated to the quality of his product and it is absolutely obvious when you take your first bite or drink. The employees are friendly and the atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. If you're looking for a local business to support with your patronage then this would be my current top recommendation.
2019 April edit: my previous review could only be improved as the owner has been consistent in quality and with how incredibly friendly he is. The new bonus is that Bosa Nova has a fantastic collection of local fine art on display and for sale.(I actually bought three of them)
