If you are looking for a classy date night in downtown area, MIGA is the correct choice. Inside is decorated with modern and contemporary styles with bar seats, rooms, and tables that can accommodate large parties. Food is the fusion of Korean and American styles along with a sushi menu. It is a bit pricey, but the dining experience was exceptional.
Some of the best Sushi I've ever had! I live in Denver but come to Champaign a few times a year for business and I always have dinner at Miga. This time I happened to stumble in on their second night to offer a full sushi menu. I'm not gonna lie...at first I was bummed because I was really looking forward to the sea bass which is no longer on the menu. I decided to stay because the owner had already come by to greet me and brag about the new sushi menu. I was skeptical (and so sad I wasn't getting miso sea bass!) but all that went away when I tasted my first dish, the yellowtail crudo. OMG it was truley amazing and so so fresh. From there I had the Mexican Roll (tuna, cilantro, I can't remember what else), then the maguro nigiri. I really can't say enough as to how amazing it all was. I loooove sushi and love to put my fancy sushi dinners on the boss' credit card all over the country. I can't say how pleasantly surprised I was to find such an amazing place, especially in Champaign. Miga will still be my go to place when I'm in town.
Pretty good. Not the best I've had, but better than most in town. Sea Bass app was pretty good and the rolls were decent. I would come back to try some of the other dishes.
Miga is one of the most luxurious restaurants in the Urbana Champaign I've ever been to! The interior has recently been remodeled and it’s soo beautiful. I’ve always liked the contemporary atmosphere and, most importantly, the quality of the food is AMAZING without a doubt. I had sushi and sashimi combination with Katsu and both have been my favorites since years ago! Some may think the price can be a bit costly, but seriously, the quality of the food justifies everything!

I love the food and vibe here. All sashimi is fresh. And the funky jazz music matches the chill vibe of this great place.
Incredible food, service and atmosphere! Highest end seafood in the Champaign area. Check out their sister restaurants Sakanaya and Naya, would highly recommend all three.

This place is quite nice for a really romantic date night. Ever since they got a new chef the menu is not quite as good as it use to be but the food is still very tasty. Service is fantastic. Every time I make a reservation and inform them that it's to celebrate an anniversary they play light romantic love music. I think that's above and beyond for any restaurant to do.
I eat a lot from a lot of different places. The steak was by far the best steak I have ever eaten. The sushi rolls (Mexican and Fuji Mountain) were superb. The sweetcorn croquettes were to die for. The drinks were amazing. The service was top notch! I would recommend this to anyone!
Delightful addition to downtown dining! Pleasing, open, contemporary atmosphere perfect for conversation. Setting is great for couples, small groups and business meetings. All of our menu selections were delicious. Seafood was perfectly prepared. Their signature mixed drink was refreshing. Wines pair well with their menu. Something on the menu for everyone from the meat lover to the vegan. Both Asian and French influences are well represented. We are planning to be regulars! Can't wait till they are open for lunch.
The setting is very unique; bench style seating, projector playing old movies on one of the walls.
The food was amazing! I had the Tuna steak and I am experiencing a case of FOMO (fear of missing out), don't know if I can pass it up next time. Menu is fairly small and simple side and prices are a bit higher here but they make up for it in the quality of their dishes.
Service was attentive and knowledgeable.

This place had some of the best sushi that I have ever had. The service was amazing and scheduling my dinner reservation for me and my girlfriend's anniversary was stress free. The menu is a bit pricey, but if you look past that, you will find an excellent place to have a nice dinner.
Miga is the best upscale dinner in Champaign. They have a small menu of Asian-inspired dishes that changes somewhat regularly. Service is very good, the space is beautiful, and their cocktails are creative and excellent. Also, check out their brunch - prices are low for the quality and the food is delicious. This is definitely a place I come back to regularly.
I've never been disappointed with Miga. I have always had an extremely memorable and positive dining experience here. I also had a birthday Private party here with over 80 guests. Not many restaurants could have executed a flawless event like the staff at Miga did. The manager, Jen, was awesome to work with and very flexible with all of my crazy ideas and requests. The party went off without a hitch, and every other time I've dined here, it's always been perfect.
One of the best restaurants for fine dining in Champaign. Located right in the heart of downtown, Miga is a modern fusion of Asian and American food. Their fish and sushi dishes are super tasty. Each and every dish on the menu is thoughtfully prepared and the presentation is top-notch. They have a really nice private room which you can reserve for a large party. The service is very friendly and environment is upscale. Miga is a perfect place for a date or professional meeting. I'm proud to have taken many of my good friends here.
