Long John Silver's

So I showed up at 7:50 (10 minutes before closing time) and the young man taking my order was extremely polite and patient while i figured out what I wanted to eat. He also helped me along with making the correct choice as far as food goes. Good Job Long John Silver's you've got a polite hardworking young man.

Worst LJS ever. The fish had been cooked previously and had very hard edges all along the perimeter, was dumped back into grease to either heat it ir finish cooking it and was served to me literally dripping grease off of it. The entire bottom of the food container was soaked in grease. The sweet tea was the best offering. I will NOT be returning to this LJS. No excuses for poor quality, it was not crowded.

If you want deep fried seafood-spend the money and go to a reputable place! I have visited twice this year. Won't go again. As one whose mother was in food services, I know how critical fried food is. The fish was dripping with grease and the breading soggy. Both times I ate there I went home not feeling the best. I love fried foods, and have eaten all kinds including Long John Silvers over the years. But the lack of enough customers to keep fryers and food hot and cost-cutting leaves a bad taste in my mouth. My opinion is McDonald's next door is better use of time and money

3 stars solely because of the amount of time it took to get my food but once it arrived it was good. They were cooking my shrimp but no one told me when paying that they had to be cooked, and no one came to the window to inform me of this. Because I hadn't seen anyone in about five minutes, I called into the store and requested a refund. The manager apologized and explained what was going on, but it would have been nice to be informed in case I didn't have the time to wait.
