I've written before about how much we love Pepper Club's food, and this time I'm writing about the fabulous job they did catering our wedding. My now husband and I decided to do a much smaller wedding than originally planned, and ended up planning it under two months last year. While it was a party of approximately 35 people, there ended up being quite a few challenging logistics; and I just have to say that Pepper Club was one of the best parts of making things work. First, Nixon (the owner) gave us a really fair price. He set everything off like magic (can't beLIEVE how he got everything to come together). There was SO much food- our guests grabbed seconds and then we all ate it for two more days as we did an extended weekend to get more time with everyone. The presentation was so lovely, the food was so good, and Nixon was really creative in helping us curate two signature cocktails. I would use him over and over again (but luckily we only have plans to have the one wedding!!). If you want great food, someone who will take care of all of the details and give you a fair price- Nixon and Pepper Club is your place to go. Photos added credited to Victoria Heer Photography
Locally owned restaurant in Centreville serving delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. Their dishes are large and perfect for sharing so be prepared for leftovers! We love their "Chicken 65" as an appetizer and the Chicken Tikka Masala for dinner! Make sure to order some fresh Naan (the garlic is our favorite) and try their Lassi: a traditional yogurt blended smoothie-like delight. The Mango Lassi is a tasty treat to mellow out spicy dishes!
Pepper Club also offers cocktails and food/drink specials during happy hour, 5-7 pm. My wife enjoyed her cocktail, the “Larceny Forbidden Apple” and I ordered Larceny bourbon, neat. They have a few bourbons: Larceny, Maker's Mark, Elijah Craig... just wish they had a bigger/better selection!
Come for a delicious Indian meal for dinner or during their lunch buffet!
Great! Had the Chana Masala and garlic naan. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you live for food or just have to eat to live.
My husband and I are huge fans of Indian food and have tried every Indian restaurant in the area. This restaurant is by far the best. Their food is simply delicious- layered flavors and multidimensional spices which make for a fantastic meal. The lunch buffet is well priced and has a great variety (particularly on weekends). The overall atmosphere is very nice (clean and welcoming), and while the staff is friendly and attentive they are not overly so; leaving you to enjoy your food in peace. Highly recommended.
My wife and I recently made the trek from Bowie to meet up with another couple for dinner here and I am thrilled to reveal that it was well worth the trip. The restaurant has a quaint, but cozy atmosphere. We were immediately greeted by the owner, Nixon, who escorted us to our table and made us feel like we were "at home". What I loved most about the service was how personal and intimate it felt. The owner took time to ask our preferences and spice tolerances before making a few recommendations.
Everything from the appetizers right down to our main courses were excellent. We couldn't resist the urge to sample each other's plates.
I would recommend showing up with an empty stomach and ordering a few dishes because everything I tasted made me want to order something else.
This was a perfect dinner. I will definitely be back.
Me and my boyfriend went for a taste of Indian food and we heard this spot had some of the best Indian food. We drove over 30 miles and must say it was delicious and a good atmosphere! We had the tandoori salmon and mahi wrapped in banana leaf. Our neighboring patrons ordered a lamb shank and by the looks of their plate before/after, they also enjoyed their meal 🤗! Great place for authentic food, good drinks with warm hospitality.
We came all the way from Florida for a family vacation and we could not pass up the opportunity to visit this restaurant. The owners are very friendly, inviting and hands on. Specialty drinks are very good and is a must try. The mango margarita is great. The chicken marsala, curry goat, butter chicken and mixed grill tandoori were all great. Dishes come family size so be careful how much food you order. I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed. Try Pepper Club.

Excellent food and atmosphere! The owner was a very good host. We were longing for some Kerala-inspired non-veg dishes for along time now and we were not at all disappointed. Nice and quaint place for family. Maybe a little pricey but its being well-paid for the quality of food offered.
Have had take out dinner twice. Both times it was excellent. Nixon and his wife were very friendly and accommodating while I waited for the take out. The atmosphere is great. I look forward to dining in the restaurant.
Oh, and they have some great wines.
I have been here 3 times now. Twice for dinner and once for brunch. Dinner has been great each time with good portion sizes, flavorful food (with a nice bit of spice), clean casual atmosphere and friendly staff. The owner visited us at our table each time making sure everything was in order and it was ckear he took a great deal of pride in his restaurant. Admittedly, I can’t say that I’m an Indian food connoisseur but as far as I can tell this is fantastic Indian food. Brunch is definitely nothing like an American brunch but was a great way to sample a variety of their cuisine.
Enjoyed the lunch buffet today. Great variety, flavorful and succulent , vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes abound, friendly staff. Be sure to have a cocktail with your meal. Great place to meet your friends for good eats
Clean and intimate and a great value. I am sure to return. You will enjoy your dining experience.
Fantastic dining - incredible dishes. We went with 4 kids all under 8 y.o. and they devoured the butter chicken and a lamb appetizer. The restaurant went above and beyond to make it a great experience. The okra entree is a must have. Cocktails were very reasonable and so very good.
First impression is the best impression. Today had a lunch buffet at Pepper Club. Good varieties of non-veg and veg options. Great taste and quality as well. Really enjoyed the food. Nice setup and excellent customer service!! Definitely coming back with family and friends soon.
Definitely the best Indian food in the area and maybe the best restaurant period. I've visited 4 times and each time have had an amazing meal. Chilean sea bass is outstanding as is the lamb shank. I dream about the vegetable "dumplings" ( more like a meatball but meatless). Note that there is little difference in portion size between some of the appetizers and some of the main dishes so be prepared to take lovely leftovers home with you. A little more expensive than you'd expect for a restaurant in a shopping center but you will not be disappointed. Menu as well as drink options are a cut above.
Great food! Our waiter suggested a lamb appetizer that was fantastic. We ate family style with three dishes(one chicken, one shrimp, one lamb) and the food was all incredible(I don’t normally eat lamb, but the rack of lamb entree was my favorite too). Great wine and beer choices. Great atmosphere. Don’t be put off by it being in a strip mall. The waiters were both helpful and courteous.
The food and service was superb! The owner even provided a wine tasting! Some of the dishes we tried we had never eaten before--mind blowing. The appetizers were so good my husband and I were fighting over the last piece. The bread--very fine bread. It is a much higher quality than the naan I usually am served. I hope this restaurant does well. It has lifted the "restaurant row" on Stone Rd. to a new height.
We loved it. They paid particular attention to make the small kids food mild, which I appreciate. Our kids loved the butter chicken. The prices are what i'd expect for good Indian food. maybe a dollar high on some dishes, but this is fine dining and not a cafeteria. Attentive and professional staff. We'll be back.
My boyfriend and I discovered The Pepper Club by pure happenstance and it’s the best ‘accident’ we’ve ever had dining. It is hands down our favorite restaurant. We have yet to taste anything we didn’t like; my personal go to at the moment is the lamb pasanda but we like to try something different each time we visit.
The owners are lovely and the staff is friendly as well. We’ve enjoyed getting to know them over our multiple visits.
There are a couple of one star reviews that were all posted the same day (Dec 29) by a group of 24 that came in for the buffet, which is $15 all-you-can-eat, and they’re salty because a specific dish they wanted wasn’t on the buffet. Their reviews are misleading so PLEASE ignore those people and take a trip to The Pepper Club.
I went with a wine club group. Every dish we tried was delicious and full of flavor. The gigner battered cauliflower had a perfect amount of spice. The flash fried spinach had a light sweetness, and the chicken with coconut gravy was sweet, savory, and absolutely delicious. The owner, Nixon, and the staff were very attentive and shared recommendations for our spice preference and the wines paired well with all of the different flavors. Excellent experience. I'll be returning very soon.
