AMAZING!! Local cuisine nothing like it around Fresh potato chips, brisket burger, fried breaded portabela mushrooms

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here today for lunch, absolutely delicious meal of their Shrimp Creole soup, simply said this is some of the best we've ever had, along with their Pork Bbq and Brisket smash burger, we left full and very satisfied.
We've paid twice as much at some other local restaurants and they can't compare to the price, knowledge, friendlyness and overall service and taste. Well done....we will be back ..thank you again for a very delicious meal and dining experience....

We made reservations to this place specifically for their special of the day: Prime Rib. Ordering mine medium rare with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, it arrived slightly more rare than medium and I was fine with that. Apparently they smoke their Prime Rib, but it was very tender and delicious.
Knowing that Centre Hall had been a dry town for decades, we bought our own bottle of wine, but we discovered there was a winery attached to the restaurant. Regardless, we were more than welcome to enjoy our own bottle with dinner.
The place is cozy, casual and spacious. Even though the temperature outside was in the teens, the atmosphere was comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Sandy and I both enjoyed a fully satisfying Prime Rib dinner with two sides (my second was potato salad) for under $50. We finished with happy palates.
We are considering revisiting this place for a different entree as we looked over the menu. If what we had this evening is any indication, I don't foresee any disappointment upon return.
Very nice, nice place, good food, excellent service. Ladies got the prime rib, gents got the rail. For dessert, apple dumplings with cinnamon or vanilla ice cream. Not a chain, food is homemade style, nicely done. From 12 yrs. to 60yrs, all we're pleasantly satisfied. Would recommend. Now, to try for lunch!
We only make it out to Centre Hall once or twice per year, but we always make it a point to stop. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, and the historic building tops it off. I've never had better pork ribs!
Their fries and chips were amazing, great bbq food, awesome server! 10/10 would recommend
Chicken in a stick. Basket of bacon as a appetizer. So much great BBQ. It's always on my list when I'm in town.
