Growler Usa

Hands down one of the best burgers I've had in town - and the sidewinder fries are now my favorite fries. I have worked down the street from Growler USA for a little over a year now, and never thought they had food or served lunch - figured they were just a craft brewery type place. I was dead wrong. On a recent group outing with co-workers, I discovered they have a complete menu of sandwiches, burgers and entrees so I gave them a shot one day for lunch. I ordered the BB-Que-B and it is - hands down - the best burger I've had in a while. Add to that the sidewinder fries - which blew me away - and you've got a pretty fantastic lunch. The space itself is wide open and, on the day I visited - a bit cold. They had the AC cranked up, which will be great once summer kicks into full gear. They also have an outdoor, wraparound patio with some great views if you worship the sun. (I, alas, am of the pale-skinned tribe of 'omgigotburntstandingnexttoanightlight) Definitely worth your time.

This place is a sort of hidden gem. Not very visible from the roads, and hidden in a strip mall, it has an open, high ceiling layout, (which can make it a bit loud inside). While this is not the place to go for an intimate conversation, if you want good food, and a wide and diverse selection of beer and cider, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I am not a fan of beer, but the waitress made a couple of suggestions and I tried a flight of five different beers, finding three that I enjoyed, despite disliking the taste of most beer. The food was surprisingly good, for being along the typical pub fare. Enjoyable.
