Our favorite spot close enough to the Queens border without the silly NYC no dining inside rules. Rino is a warm and generous host. His portions are 2 large! My wife gets 2 or 3 meals from an entree.
I suggest you give this place a try.

Rino the owner makes you feel like you're visiting his home.
Food is fantastic and he has a very good wine list.
He also tends to get special whiskeys so look real hard at the bar or ask Rino what he has that's special.

We have a very nice cocktail before dinner at the small, cozy bar. The owner is very kind and the soft music made me feel I was in Italy. The food is great so is the service. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner.
