Reviews of Bistro Tazio

One of the worst dining experiences ever for our group of 8. Truly horrible. Some of my favorite quotes from our server: - "There are no specials tonight because the chef is out this week." (that's when we should have left.) - "Would you like any pasta with your red clam sauce?" (seriously?!) - After already waiting two hours for our entrees, the waiter asked "is there anything else I can bring you" after refilling waters. (my head almost exploded. I could only reply: "Yes, our dinners, please!") I heard this was a Mexican restaurant a few weeks ago. That explains a lot. Beware!

The food is very good! I had a salad with the berry viniagrette (delicious!), the farfalle pasta with mushroom sauce (the veggies in the pasta are yummy) and a side of meatballs (nice and spicy). Our kids didn't love it, but the adults did. Large portions, so bring your appetite or be ready to take home leftovers. Highly recommend!

Normally if I have a bad dinner experience I don't say anything but I feel it is duty to protect others from going here. Among the worst dinners I have ever had. The meatballs are like cold rubber hockey pucks. The wine tasted like raisins. The marinara was bland. The manicotti was a bunch of gloppy cheese with over cooked pasta.
