was standing at the counter deciding what to order when an older gentleman raved about the rugelach pastries. I had never heard of them, and now i've learned they are a traditional Jewish pastry. I also found out how sweet and delicious they are, because the owner was so kind and gave me one no charge because she wanted me to try it. It was flaky pastry filled with fig...yum!
I read my book as I sipped an iced coffee and a delicious savory crepe. There were so many sweet and savory options. I chose the prosciutto, spinach and fig...three ingredients that you can't go wrong with!
This is a shop that I will definitely return to as I enjoyed the quiet space, the kind owner, the friendly patrons, and the wonderful crepes! Plus, Cave Creek is such a fun, quaint old west town with lots to see.

A short 45 minute drive from downtown Phoenix, nestled within the Stagecoach Village plaza in Cave Creek, The Village Coffee Shop has the best crepes in the valley. The coffee is locally roasted (Roastery of Cave Creek -ROC²) and on par with top coffee shops and everything is reasonably priced for the quality you get. The menu is quite large and caters to every taste bud with 22 sweet and 14 savory crepe options. The decor is comfy and Parisian inspired with a chandelier, colorful murals, and Audrey Hepburn photos as you're serenaded by artists like Norah Jones. It's a nice little culinary experience and quick escape from the bustle. Go treat yourself! You won't regret it.

This is a hidden gem in the Carefree/Cave Creek area. Located away from the main street in a shopping area, it provides plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The menu is comprehensive and full of French delicacies. It was a little busy when we visited with a large party occupying most of the indoor seating area. Despite that the service was prompt and courteous. Coffee cups were large like soup cups.

AMAZING! Adorable environment to sit, eat and enjoy one’s self! I have a BLT crape and was in heaven! Had the green smoothie and was awesome as well! I will totally be back, even if it is a drive.

First time here. Cute place. No wait. Nice staff. It is a bit pricey but you’re paying for experience I suppose.

Awesome place unique and gluten free both baked goods and crepes. Best coffee in town I got a hot latte. Also baby friendly with a large bathroom to fit a stroller, diapers, with a changing table. Cute patio and shopping plaza to walk around afterwards.

Bagel sandwiches are amazing as is the staff and coffee. Add to that the relaxed atmosphere. Going back as soon as I can.

Shared a “Triple Threat” crepe earlier today with my wife. Crepe was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was attentive and smiling. Just a wonderful place to frequent. A hidden gem. You will not be disappointed if you give it a try.
