Excellent evening at Vista Vino! Every time we try something new it's added to our Vista Vino favorites... And the lobster bisque is special. I tried it and had to bring friends back to enjoy the wonderful flavors. Tonight my husband ordered the 90 day aged steak which was absolutely incredible!!! The team is excellent. Can't wait for the next visit!

Great ambiance. Our server was fantastic, no rush at all and was very attentive throughout our meal. The appetizers were a huge hit. However, entrees and drinks were hit or miss. Over peppered and seasonings were off. All in all, we felt it was just over priced for the quality of food and drinks

First time in and was very impressed! Chef came out to chat with us and eased my mind on the GF food they offer. He was so helpful and everything we ordered was excellent! I can’t wait to go back.

We've lived here in Castle Rock for 3 years. I can't believe we've never been here. I was looking to support local and find somewhere nice for the wife and myself. We walked in and met Paul. He's a very engaging person. Found out he's from Michigan like I am. GO BLUE!
Got seated and looked the menu over. We wanted to order it ALL! So many amazing options! Our waitress didn't make it any easier by telling us the specials. :-)
Started with lobster ravioli which could've been a meal itself. We could've stopped there and been happy. Time to order the entree.
We settled on ribeye for myself and pasta for the wife. I don't have words to describe how good my steak was. A buttery 90 day aged piece of meat. Yum! The accompanying potatoes were seasoned with green chiles. That was a first for me.
My wife couldn't stop raving about her pasta and crab cake.
We finished up with tiramisu.
We found a new favorite.
We will go back again and again.

Last night was our first time there. Food and service were excellent. Although the waitress was slightly patronizing. I was asking a question about the wine and I guess she didn't hear me correctly as she smirked and told me that was "the vin number". Lol! No kidding.... In fairness to her though, it is really loud in there. My 10yo said that his steak was not only the best steak he ever had, but the best thing he has ever eaten! Thank you Vista Vino! Edited to add: I recommend getting a reservation. We didn't have one, but my husband, son, and I were lucky there just so happened to be 3 seats available at the "chef's table". Kind of fun to sit there and watch all the action.

The new owner is very nice, very welcoming and appreciative of customers. Service is still good. Food, however, is a lot to be desired and needs work. Arancini- rice balls- were soft rice balls with blue cheese (which they didn’t mention about) 2/5 (had better at several other places). Lobster bisque - 1/5 (salty mess; not sure if they even cleaned the lobster shell from salt or just boiled it right away as soup base). Pasta carbonara - 2/5 (they use homemade fettuccini, which is fine, except that the dish is nothing like traditional pasta carbonara, it’s extremely salty to the point of inedible due to pancetta and salt overuse; the dish also has white creamy sauce which traditional carbonara doesn’t). The tiramisu cake was dry because the lady fingers weren’t thoroughly soaked. Good wine list, need to add couple of more martinis. Other positives since new ownership - hours extended to 9pm and menu has more selection.

Extremely friendly staff and the food was the best in town. The owners made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to to make our experience a grand one. Would definitely recommend anybody to pay them a visit! Don’t forget to make a reservation because they have plenty of guests that love their food as much as we did.

Ignazio the former owner of Odyssey now owns this place. Some of the same great recipes plus delicious carryovers from previous owner. Worth the drive.
