Had two very different experiences here. During the first visit the staff member was not friendly at all and acted like we were inconveniencing her by asking for assistance. You can find all your needs, and service is good
Don't order the pizza. Crust won't even be cooked all the way. Also, whisky is very overpriced. Staff can be nice though.

Good response from the owner, and my mistake being unaware of Maine's Liquor Control Commission. Oregon does that, too, which I've always thought stifles economic growth
Love this local grocer. It's in the center of Castine and has a little of everything. The best part about the store is the people. They are friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome. T & C brings you back to how to grocery stores should be. Thanks T & C

perfect place to get commonly needed items such as, snacks and drinks. They offer some regular food on the shelves as it is a popular place with the local college kids. They also sell food that is made there. It is a little pricey as it is the only convenient store on the Castine neck.
Good selection. Staff was smiling and helpful. Breakfast sandwich was very tasty.

Can be expensive but it's literally the only place in Castine to pick up grocery items in a pinch, so it's pretty reliable. Only place to get gas in Castine too.
Service was extraordinary...Beth is the BEST! Reheated our coffee , sent us home happy.

Things can be a little expensive, but it's really convenient to have a place to swing down to if you don't feel like running up to Bucksport or Ellsworth.
It's a convenience store, nothing special, although they have prepared foods and deli meats.
