Firehouse Subs

My mom and I were in the area for a visit. She had never been to a Firehouse Subs, so I was excited when I saw it. We had the sandwich/side combos. She got mac&cheese with her sandwich. She was happy with the mac&cheese she had. I went with chili for my side order aspect of the combo. Great chili! Everything was hot and fresh for us. My mom loved the drink machine, once she figured it out. She went back to try a few combos of drinks while we were there. Overall, we were happy with the food and staff!

I ordered a large sub to go and was served what was the stalest bread possible. It was as dried out as a crouton as it had to have been sitting on a shelf for days. I am amazed that anyone working food service would allow that out the door. I ended up throwing it away just to make sure I didn’t get any kind of food born illness. Check your order before you leave if you are risky enough to eat here.

You can't go wrong with their subs and the atmosphere is great. I love their drink machine (mix and match anything you want). I've never had a negative experience with any of their employees- always helpful and welcoming. Their cookies are delicious and the fact that they strongly support their local fire departments makes it easy to round up my order to the nearest dollar!
