Coming from someone who grew up in Louisiana, this was not even close to gumbo. The roux was not complete as it had chunks of wheat still in it. My jambalaya and red beans & rice were needed improvement.
We came to this restaurant because we previously had the gator bites which were very good.

Here on a quiet Friday afternoon waiting for tires next door at Discount Tire. Crab appetizer was great and the beer tap selection was nice. 1000% better than sitting in an Auto store waiting room. Great location!!
Came into town to do some shopping and decided to stop in for a bite to eat with my daughter. My server Caitlyn was very sweet and attentive it wasn’t busy at lunchtime but the food was very good. Prices are reasonable! Stop by and ask for Caitlyn you won’t regret it.
I searched Google for somewhere to satisfy a craving for Cajun. I'm so glad I decided to try The Big Easy Oven & Tap. The Gator Bites and Crawfish Etouffee were fabulous. One appetizer and one entree was plenty to feed us both. We had to save the Beignets for later. Corinne was an excellent server
