Sriracha Thai Restaurant

Sriracha Thai restaurant on Avalon in Carson is one of the best takeout Thai restaurants in town. Take out only now. The dine-in portion is very small and has been closed for quite a while. It doesn't matter because their food is absolutely delicious. The owners are an American and Thai couple and very friendly. Sometimes on the weekends they have a lot of orders so it may take a little while to get your order but they always text you to let you know when your order is ready for pickup. The prices are reasonable and the selection is wide. Our favorite is the Thai combo fried rice. It's actually enough to feed two people especially if you get it with extra meat for only $2 more. Delicious, affordable and nice family owned business. We ordered salmon curry, party tray orange chicken for my kid birthday and spicy chowmein add mushroom and tofu. Asked them to made papaya salad with tofu because one of my daughters vegetarian and they were very accommodate. Everything was good and fast.

Delicious!!! I got the crab fry rice, Pad see ew (took the pic after we were halfway through), and a Thai tea. The food tasted great! They have a similar flavor as the authentic Thai food my wife and I would get from the Houston Chinatown (we recently moved to SB). I will return for other dishes in the future.

Wow I am so disappointed in this place. I ordered from here so much and so often and the quality and the care for customers has gone down. I asked if they could make my food without soy sauce, as I do every single time I order and they told me no. I thought perhaps the lady I spoke to didn’t understand so I asked to speak to someone else. I explained my sister is allergic and will she to go to the hospital if she ingests soy. They said they couldn’t do anything about it and I’d just have to take it as is or they could serve me. Mind you they close at 8:30 and i was ordering at 7:39. I have been a long time customer. Have come to them during the pandemic when almost everything shut down and people weren’t frequenting certain establishments because of prejudices. I was going to them when there was hardly no one to patron them. I have recommended countless people and still this. I started ordering delivery and they forgot my side orders and didn’t put things I asked for in the bag. Even when I come to pick it up the same thing has been happening. I asked one of the workers if I need to mark it a certain way etc and they still have been messing it up but I’m loyal so I gave them chance after chance. But today was too far. They can’t make food that I order all the time and gave me such a hard time and then had the nerve to say they always take care of me. Well today you let me down and I hope everyone knows there are better Thai places to go that care more about their customers. Will tell everyone I recommended who helped keep this business a float to stop coming and I wouldn’t recommend you coming either. Other places any your money more and will appreciate you.
