Reviews of Panda Express

Panda Express has slowly been going down hill since the pandemic. We have attempted to remedy this by sending reviews to Panda Express directly but we still consistently have issues. This past Sunday we attempted to go inside the location on Old Denton around 6 PM and the doors were locked our boys really wanted to go in so we proceeded to a different location. We went on to the location on north Josey where we were told most likely the old Denton location was under staffed and that’s what they typically do when they are under staffed. We ordered bigger plates which have gone up in pricing recently and noticed the portions are now smaller. They were also out of honey chicken, almost every time we go they seem to be out of something. I think we may no longer be panda customers based on our experiences over the past year.

12/6/22 This is the worst location I’ve gone to which is a bummer bc it’s the closest one to me. You have about a 50% they will be out of what you are wanting. I’ve been going here for over a year and it has been pretty consistent that about half the time they are out of what you want. Yes, I still go here even tho they fail me often. But I definitely would go more often if they were more reliable. Update from last week 4/25/22 6:30pm and this week 5/4/22 4:30p : 1) last week I got under cooked shrimp, 2) this week I went in and they were out of everything I wanted, super greens, teriyaki chicken and string bean chicken smh….get it together! Only reason I even take the gamble of coming here is bc it’s right around the corner from where I live…if I were 5 or more minutes away I would not even waste my time… Update 5/10/22 7pm. 2.5 hours before close- that’s it…I’m done with this location…never wasting my time by coming here again. This time it was steamed rice they were out of. …and I just called up to talk to a manager and there was no manager on duty…go figure…I found out the managers name is apparently Jennifer…Jennifer you need to get it together!

Received some of the oldest food I’ve ever seen, the top looked ok as I opened the container and so I started driving and eating my second fork was a giant dark brown ball of rice and all of the orange chicken was was shaded different which indicate it had been sitting a very long time. I’m guessing the lobby closed so people can’t see that the food isn’t fresh, I made it about 3 miles before stopping and throwing up as that chicken was not right and nor was the rice a waiste of my money! Rethink quality over food cost.

This location does have a drive-thru; just be sure to plan appropriately during the day as it could become busy during typical lunch break hours. There are a couple of nearby options just in case. This restaurant had good food and service; I ordered orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and fried rice. Yum!

My experience was terrible, I will never go to this location again. I was getting a free entree item because I finished the survey. When I arrive at Panda Express they start asking me a million questions, saying that you have to buy an entree to get a free entree, it does not say that anywhere on the receipt or the online survey. Then they tell me they are “gonna give it to me free this time” and they end up giving me a side of chicken. I am highly upset and I will never be returning. And to top it off, I have got an entree from other Panda Express locations without having to pay ANYTHING. They were trying to get me to pay; something that should be free!!!!
