Really cute place and amazing food. You get a great portion of food. The enchiladas are a most get one time you go there. Waiters keep your soft drinks filled. One my favorite restaurants in Carpinteria

To be fair, we went to this place during the avofest, so it was crazy busy and they clearly didn't have enough help. That said, the food wasn't very good and the portions were small for the price. I don't think we would've liked it much better even on a quiet night, but perhaps we would've had better service.

Terrible food. The chicken tastes like cat. The salsa isn't fresh. The service is bad and slow when the place had one other customer. I ordered a burger they didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked then it came super well done with no taste at all. Worst place to eat at carp. Lazy cooking and service.

This place is a joke. When you walk into a joint and it's empty, that's your first sign that a mediocre experience is what youll get.there was a bartender and the cook, hanging out. The cook gave me a few dirty looks and sulked back to his grease trap kitchen, the bartender told me he hates gay people. That is unacceptable. He probably would've spit in my food! Shame on you senor frogs

Decent Mexican food at tourist prices. I can think of 5 places within a 5 minute walk that will get you more flavorful, authentic food without the cost of the interior decoration and higher end atmosphere.

Unfortunately, Senor Frog's has Closed May 2019. I did like Senor Frog's a lot and eat lunch or dinner there twice a month. It's a nice quiet sit down place. I'm no one to judge on "authentic" or not, but I've always had good meal. My Fav is a Chile Reano with anything else, plus the really good chips & salsa to start.

Great food, great service! New favorite Mexican restaurant...if they paint the roof something dark, maybe something red, they'd get 5 stars for atmosphere as well.
