I am love with the food. This Is the only Chinese food that I will go to. Me and my family have been going to this location for years. I recently moved and haven't found a Chinese food place like this one. It's worth the drive. Words can't describe how amazing the food is.
We went here with high hopes, fueled by all the glowing reviews. But we were disappointed. I actually DID like the crab rangoon. They balanced out with the egg drop soup which was just horrible. The vegetable egg rolls were just good/fine. The Singapore Noodles and the Lo Mein were good, not great. Great service/nice people who work there.
Edit:the Singapore noodles and Lo Mein were much better heated up the next day - go figure!
It’s surreal. Walking in you’re restricted to the confines of the entrance lobby, flanked by tables on all sides. A friendly yet tired woman greets you and places your order. You can feel she’s tired, yet she’s determined and is always kind. It’s surreal to see the affects the pandemic has had on small business such as this one. Yet, they manage to stay open and deliver the best Chinese food in the Fox River Valley. Unlike the corporate restaurants of the world, this place feels like home.
Best all around Chinese food place. Some have bigger portions but not as good taste. Some slightly better taste but small portions. This is the best meal and the owners are very friendly.
Hands down the #1 spot for Chinese food in all of Chicago. Super low prices, the food and service are both amazing! Food comes out fresh and fast every time.
My grandparents used to live very close to this place, we used to call in our order and walk over to pick it up, and I miss getting their food! There was always a good amount of food for all of use and we'd end up taking home left overs or leaving them for my grandparents to enjoy - depending on what the dish was. The staff was so nice to us and always seemed excited and happy when we'd call to place an order. If I'm ever in the area, I'll be sure to stop in and enjoy the inside of the restaurant, since the atmosphere looked very inviting and relaxing.
First time there. Got the House Lo Mein. Definitely to die for. Got the chicken, beef, and shrimp mix!!! Wow!!! I'll be back. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
