Custard was fine and the frozen ice slushy things were pretty good (though most flavors are VERY sweet). The ice cream is Turkey Hill - we expected something custom from a "dairy bar." Staff was nice enough. Food was slow to arrive. The women's bathroom was trashed; no functional toilets.
Not that they DON'T deserve a five-star rating, its just that if I did give a five-star rating it would have you believe this place is flawless (which no eatery ever is). However...

This place has great milkshakes and the food is pretty good. However, the kitchen is so slow with hot food orders!! We just waited 35 minutes for one order of cheese fries. It’s 3:30 in the afternoon, and they’re not busy.
Not a lot of people were eating ice cream a few people where they were having Burgers and Fries wasn't paying attention I just left Cowtown eating chicken so we stopped by for dessert butter pecan ice cream and soft serve sprinkles great service lovely day stopping grab a snack enjoy the day before

Our meals were tasty and served hot at one of the back picnic benches. We enjoyed Cowtown Rodeo afterwards. Good family night.
