New Rice Bowl Express

This place offers consistently good Chinese food. Huge portions and very fast service. I ordered a vegetable over rice dish online. The veges were really fresh and the dish was piping hot when I opened it up back at the office. It was a satisfying lunch that I couldn't even come close to finishing. I highly recommend this place.

Late one night a friend suggested we get some take out from this restaurant that I had never visited. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the delicious, mouth watering flavors and aromas of the various dishes I ordered, but the quantity of food in the container my dinner was packed in was so great it literally took me 3 days to complete. I really have no negative observations to make about New Rice Bowl. I'll definitely return for another take out meal soon!

Ordered pickup (both my coworker and myself) I got teriyaki and rice, with a Carmel boba milk tea (THEY HAVE SO MANY CHOICES) my coworker got eggplant tofu, soup, and a few different sushi rolls. Both our orders were perfectly made, and tasted amazing! And the portions were excellent, plenty leftover for my husband (who was very happy with it, even cold) The servers were extremely kind and made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent experience eating here for the first time. This place was recommended by a friend and is definitely my go-to place for Chinese food and Boba milk tea from now on. Ordered online and the service was very fast and the staff was very friendly and professional. The food was still very hot by the time I got home and the portions were way more than I expected. Overall a very nice experience for a great meal!

Lazy. Dirty. Unclean. Poor service. Health code violation waiting to happen. . Shocked by our experience today. Ordered Ginger Beef takeout, got it home to find only rice and onions with 5 shavings of beef. . Mistakes happen. Brought it back! They inspected my food rather than just making it right. The young lady argued with me, and then agreed to fix it. . Then she took it back to her cook and he yelled and cried. After yelling back and forth he remade it. Proper ratios but half the serving. We order from here (or used to order from here) 2-4 times a month. So we know what to expect. . However he only remade half the order and refused to make the tempura. It was his lunch break and he was going to go eat with his friends. . A young man, who wasn't a cook tried to take the tempura from the bad order (WITH HIS BARE HANDS) and put it with the new order. I insisted he make new. . Meanwhile the cook was sitting down to eat his huge pile of food. The two left up front were forced to remake the tempura. . It's shocking this place has such little control over it's staff. It seems like the owner would want to know what their staff is like when they are not there. . We won't be back. . Try Blue Sky. It authentic. The staff is kind, and the food is amazing.

MOUTHWATERING & FRESH Ordered on Door Dash at random and was SUPER pleased. Read the online reviews after receiving our orders and saw bad reviews. Sure hope whatever they did today 3/31/22, they keep it up because the food was fresh, flavorful, extremely well prepared and just a delight. More specific: the vegetable fried rice had loads of beautiful veggies. The sezchaun shrimp was just the right spicy to enjoy all the other flavors and the shrimp was tender. The cream cheese wontons where light and sweet and not over cooked so the cheese was creamy. The egg foo young was the nicest I've seen in the last 20 years.

Best Chinese food in All of Sacramento. I’ve tried many other places and nothing compares to New rice bowl. The foil wrap chicken and fried rice is Amazing. The general chicken and beef n broccoli is Too die for. And the best cream cheese wontons I’ve ever had. I go here so often and spend so much money I’m gonna go broke. Lmao

I went there yesterday for the very first time. The food came out very quickly. I had the Singapore noodles and have to say they're pretty good. The soup that they give you a had seaweed and some tofu . pretty good taste. I'll probably go there again for those noodles. As I don't really want to venture out further than that on the menu. I think what's hurting them is that location you can miss a very easily and you can only really get there one way. The young lady is very nice in the front, but everyone else in the kitchen seem like they have an attitude. No smiles. No one else was in there there were a bunch of pickup orders coming in though. Update; I went again to get the Singapore noodles again cuz they're very good. And sweet and sour chicken. all of it was very very good a lot better than other places around there. Everyone was smiling and being happy so perhaps it was just an off day. I will continue going there the food's great 4-30-2021 I had to take away a few stars from my original review. I would NEVER buy the sushi here again. I tried the California roll, spicy tuna, and some other one with salmon. The rice is mush , the fish was room temperature.... Which was gross. The spicy tuna tastes very bad. I'm not happy that I paid 30$ plus tip For terrible garbage quality sushi
