Yogurt Heaven-ice Cream

Long time customer at the Monterey location, occasionally Seaside as well, so I was thrilled when this one opened up within walking distance of my house. Myo has the best frozen yogurt in a wide variety of flavors that are constantly swapped out so there's always something new to try. Also known for its legendary selection of toppings—a huge spread of fresh fruit, cereal, candy, baked goods, sprinkles & sauces. IMO that's what always set it apart from any of the similar fro yo places (and even ice cream shops) we've had here over the years. So that's why I had to go with 4 ⭐'s instead of 5 after our trip to the new Carmel location the other night (but I would've gone with 4 1/2 if I could). It's quite a bit smaller than the others, so a slightly scaled down version with a slightly more limited range of toppings was to be expected. But when we stopped by after date night the other day, all the toppings had already been put away even though they were open for another 25 min... which we didn't notice before we both doled ourselves out a big serving of fro yo, so we pretty much just ended up going home with a bunch of plain yogurt 😒 I'm sure this would only be a potential concern right before closing—so just keep in mind, if you're trying to satisfy a fro yo craving try to get there before it's too close to 9:00! 🍨
