Excellent fresh bagels with cream cheese. Very clean and great service. Reasonably priced. They also sell muffins, sandwiches, and specialty coffees.

As a born and bred NYer I know good bagels when I taste them and these are very good.
I don't buy any sandwiches so have no opinion on that-just give me the really good fresh bagels and let me buy the Acme Lox from Costco and I'm a happy guy.

Where should I start? Food or service?
-The food food is delicious. I’m a NJ native and the breakfast bagels are the closest thing I’ve found in the area to tri-state breakfast bagel sandwiches. Organic coffee…yes please!
I recommend their food/drinks without hesitation.
What takes an eatery to the next level, beyond just good food?
- Great service. The employees are professional, courteous and attentive. They seem happy to be there which shows in their service. It makes it an absolute pleasure to patronize this place.
Two more details: prices - they seem completely fair; seating - there’s plenty of it.

You cannot find better customer service that the wonderful people they have at The Bagel Shop. I would highly recommend The Hamlet in the cheddar bagel!! You will not be disappointed.

Tasty bagels although sometimes the toppings on the everything bagel ("Superseed") can get a bit too toasted when warmed up. Also I believe they switched to whipped cream cheese a few years back which has a tendency to melt into a warmed bagel versus regular cream cheese.
Overall nice clean location.

Ordered a sparkling apple juice and a cheddar jalapeño bagel. They offered to toast, slice, and butter it for me. They did all three beautifully. Staff was very nice and the place had great furniture.
