Food was yummy. Quick service with fresh food. I had the chicken teriyaki and my partner had the sweet shrimp. Truly enjoyed our plates. Priced appropriately
Ordered Sushi and the matcha cheesecake for takeout. The sushi was fine, tho the salmon was not very tender. For the cheesecake, I was devastated when I opened the box. For 1O$ I expected a regular sized cake at least. See for yourself.

Walking the streets of Carmel-by-the-Sea is a rewarding experience filled with ocean sounds and views, quaint shops and alluring restaurants. We discovered Sushi Heaven after we were turned away from one of our favorite Sushi spots due to overbooking reservations. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed with the atmosphere. We had no reservation, they welcomed us with a smile and sat us in short order. The music and lighting were on point, coupled with the fact that it was reminiscent of sushi restaurants in Japan. The food was punctual and absolutely delicious. The service was awesome and at the right frequency allowing for good balance of conversation and food. Eating here was a really cool experience highlighted by an enjoyable walk in a beautiful town. This is our new favorite spot and can make for a great romantic experience for a night out with your partner or a relaxing time with friends. Highly recommended.

We’ve been coming here for 20 years and this time was the best food. Very fresh and innovative. New owners? The waiter suggested toro and it was delicious . Other rolls as were great too. Appetizer poke great too. It was good we made reservations for our Friday night out it was busy
Everytime we visit Carmel, we visit Sushi Haven. For more than 10 years, this place continues to impress us. This place has the best fresh fish, legit sushi rice and excellent service. Their rolls are creative and delishious. We have had some of the best meals of out life here.
We have even eaten here twice in 1 day because it's that good. I can bring my dog to the outside patio and the atmosphere is nice. Do not miss this spot.
Perhaps the best meal I've ever had in my life. Mom and I came to Sushi Heaven last night for some quick donburi after a long day, but I had to come back tonight for a real sushi meal on the coast. I was greeted by the son of the owner who instantly remembered me and brought me a saporro with an ice cold glass. He told me that his father, the owner of over 20 years was preparing the sushi tonight so I told them I loved their food and would be honored with whatever he wanted to feed me. The quality, quantity, and creativity was relentless. The sushi in LA will never hold a candle to the fresh, rich flavors of the fish I was given tonight. To be able to have drinks with a true, passionate sushi master and his family, and support a phenomenal restaurant in these trying times has left me with a memory I will hold dear for the rest of my life. The big hugs after the meal were not a goodbye, but a "see you again someday". Arigato gozaimasu 🙏🤍
What a vibe! Sushi was fire, service is better than amazing. Sushi Heaven has its name right. Ceaser knows what’s great on the menu and the owner was great. Doesn’t get better than this place. Have to go there for yourself!
The food was great, I was here recently and would come again! The service kinda sucked though, the person who served us (I think his name was David) was quite arrogant and rude. Aside from him our experience was great. The teriyaki and sashimi were my favourites 😊👍🏻
