Review Anton & Michel - Carmel

We have a very pleasant dinner at the patio. Very nice atmosphere. We had to ask for table clothes. The service was very good by Connor. All the plates that we took were very good. The French onion soup, the salad, the risotto and specially the duck was very tasty. And at the end a very good desert "chocolate truffle cake" delicious. Definitely, we'll be back.

We stopped by for a weekday lunch. Got a table outside by the fountain since it was a nice day. The salmon and sand dabs were both cooked perfectly, moist and flaky. Seasoning was on the lighter side but highlighted the nuances of the fresh ingredients. Very impressive wine list. For dessert, the made-to-order crepes suzette with vanilla bean ice cream was a sweet and delectable way to finish off our lunch.

Best restaurant in Carmel. It's beautiful, romantic, and most importantly, delicious. This restaurant also has a beautiful bar. Service is excellent. Reservations are recommended. Easy parking on side streets. Foods I recommend are lamb chops, crab cakes, duck pate.

First and foremost, I was thrilled to discover that Anton & Michel is a dog-friendly establishment. Being able to bring my furry friend along to enjoy a meal with me was a huge plus. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, providing water and even treats for my canine companion. It truly created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Now let's talk about the food. Anton & Michel surpassed my expectations with their delectable cuisine. The menu showcased a wide array of options, from fresh seafood to mouthwatering steaks and innovative vegetarian dishes. Every dish I tried was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and it was evident that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into each creation. One of the highlights of my dining experience was the fabulous patio. The outdoor seating area provided a tranquil and charming ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a glimpse of the beautiful Carmel scenery. It was the perfect setting to enjoy a meal, whether it was a leisurely brunch, a romantic dinner, or a casual gathering with friends.

This is our first visit to Anton& Michael. Anton and Micheals is located on a side street in Carmel This restaurant is quaint and has a wonderful ambiance Seems quite popular with the locals. The food was average and the service was attentive. I enjoyed the beet salad.

I had an amazing time at Anton & Michel! The atmosphere was so relaxing, and the food was absolutely incredible. I decided to go for the filet mignon, and oh my goodness, it was like heaven in my mouth. It was so tender and flavorful, I couldn't get enough. The service was top-notch, too. Our server, Connor, took great care of our party of eight. He made sure we had everything we needed and was super attentive throughout the evening. Props to him for providing such excellent service! I highly recommend Anton & Michel to everyone. Seriously, don't miss out on this place. The atmosphere, the food, and the service all come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. So delicious... Had the ahi tuna crisp and mushroom risotto as an appetizer, then split the rack of lamb as a main course. Portions were huge, could have split a starter and a main course. Best good I've had in a long, long time. Very rich and decadent. Amazing wine selection.

Yes little pricy if you are only looking to eat dinner with a great taste . But having both here was amazing . Staff was amazing . Ambience is great to dress up and enjoy the sophistication of Carmel by the sea . For sure we would come back .

I recently had dinner here and had a wonderful experience following very sad news. It was the perfect place to feel like being somewhere else. The bartender was super busy but made a great cocktail. Our server was very, very kind (I feel certain he could tell something was not quite right). He checked on us often but not too often, chatty but not too chatty and gave us good recommendations off the menu. I highly recommend the duck. The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. Love that! I will definitely go back when visiting the area again. Thank you to our sweetheart server whose name I couldn’t recall but a wonderful gentleman!

After a night of wine tasting we went to Anton and Michel. We had reservations but arrived early. We were created by one of the two owners/managers who was very nice an accommodating. We were directed to the bar and lounge area which had plenty of seating including a couch and a nice bar. After receiving our drink order we were advised our table was ready and brought over. They took care of rolling the drinks to our bill with no fuss. Our table had plenty of room for the three of us and a view of the outside. We were treated to wonderful appetizers of French onion soup, risotto, and tuna tartare. Diner was Kobe beef short ribs, bone in rib eye, and NY steak. We wrapped the night up with banana foster which was flambéed table side. The risotto, Kobe beef short ribs, and banana foster were the stars of the night. The environment was energetic but not too loud. We were even treated to one of the owner/managers playing on the piano. The staff was full of energy, positive, helpful, and was always there if we needed something. Not an inexpensive night but worth it. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a really delightful lunch here today. The outdoor seating is so relaxing and pleasant. I enjoyed the water feature and the music. We both had the French onion soup which was great. I had an Ahi tuna sandwich and enjoyed that immensely. Service, food and atmosphere were great. Highly recommend.

Top notch dinner in Carmel. You're going to pay up, but the prices on the local wines aren't too bad. The food quality and presentation is excellent. The servers are engaging and attentive. The atmosphere is a little stuffy for my taste, but it's really nice if that's your thing.

Celebrated anniversary at Anton & Michel! Were were so pleased with everything! The ambiance was just right! Food excelllent! Wonderful wine list! Shout out to our server RJ for making it a special evening! We will be back!

Came here for a private party of 20 guests. Service was amazing. Our waiter was attentive, kind, personable, and professional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and felt like we were in our family’s living room with the fire setting the mood. The food was amazing! Everything was prepared perfectly delicious. I had the duck breast and it melted in my mouth. The mushroom risotto was velvety and creamy. The lobster bisque was smooth and decadent. The dessert was lack-luster after such a great meal, but I was so full from the entree that it wasn’t a big deal.

Our family favorite restaurant and Carmel-by-the-Sea! The food and hospitality are beyond perfect. It is always joyful and blissful experience to visit it. The fountains right next to your table, the music and the smiles all around makes the atmosphere of dining so cheerful.

The service was amazing. The recommendations and specials were fabulous. The starters, mains, desserts, cocktails were all up to a perfectionist's standards and a delicious mouthwatering experience. The atmosphere was charming and inviting. We dragged out our meal as long as possible and enjoyed every minute of it. We cannot say enough positives of Anton & Michel! We highly recommend and will be back. Thank you for the superb experience.
