This was my fist time here. I’ve been looking for a Chinese restaurant near me that made great Lo Mein. I was pleasantly greated when I walked in. I wasn’t rushed to place my order and although she was multi-tasking my order was correct and that is what matters to me!
I’m a really picky eater and this place was able to WoW me! The Vegetable Lo Mein was excellent! Noodles were Not mushy and the broccoli was perfectly cooked! My only suggestion for improvement would be to add more broccoli.
The Crab Rangoon was fantastic! It was crispy and hot with a good amount of filling! I even enjoyed the sauce.
The fried biscuits were soft and golden and were NOT overly greasy.
My wife ordered the chicken and mushrooms and she was very pleased with her meal.
This will definitely be our GO TO Chinese eatery! Great food and good service! Definitely a 5-Star!!!
I wish I remembered to take pics. I’ll definitely add a second review with pics! I might actually try something new!

Best takeout in Carmel! The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is americanized but good! We drive across town to order here.

Fresh, friendly, and fast. First time trying this place and I’m glad we did. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Jenni for your wonderful customer service, and thanks to those in the kitchen as well!

The best dumplings! These are handmade, old school, doughey with a great pork filling. Please do not change your recipe. I'll be back just because of these dumplings. I've been looking everywhere for these!
Update:
Still the best! Also, we tried a lot! Everything was so fresh and delish!
Lo mein, beef with scallops, orange chicken, lemon chicken, mushroom egg foo young, egg rolls, hot and sour soup and crab rangoon. The crab Rangoon is also the best! The restaurant is SO clean and when you walk in, the air isn't filled with oil. We drive from Broad Ripple to come here because there is nothing as good as King's Garden.

Best Chinese restaurant on the east side Carmel. We've been ordering take out from here for years. We've never once had a bad experience, foods always been ready at time for takeout, I don't think they've ever changed their prices. Portions are pretty large, pretty good for familes.

King's Garden and Peking Garden are owned by siblings. Both are great Chinese food. Fast, hot and generous portions. Yum!

Listen man these egg rolls are the TRUTH. I'm in love with their food. The options for vegetarians? Amazing. The amount of care the staff puts into their service and food? Amazing. Everything about this place is amazing. They're so kind and welcoming, not to mention the prices are very reasonable for someone like me ballin on a budget. Love this place.

Kings Garden is fantastic take out. Orange Chicken is really good. My whole family prefers King's Garden. We drive past other places to get take out here, because it's just better.

Been going here for over 5 years now. It has gone up in price, but what hasn't? Sometimes they have gotten the order incorrect, but they are always quick to make it right. Nothing beats their Generals Chicken and then adding a side of hot oil for ultimately spicy. We have never had a bad experience here and appreciate the owners for consistently fresh, hot, quality food. Thank you for the quality and efforts you put into your food.

My wife and I have been eating at Kings Garden for several years. It is our favorite Chinese Carry Out as well as dine in. First, the most important thing, the food. We have always felt the portions we abundant. Never had an issue with the amount of food we’d received. Depending on the menu selection we found adequate portions of meat and vegetables. As for flavor, right on target. We’ve tried multiple menu items and truly satisfied that they know what they are doing. Spicy when it’s supposed to be spicy, sweet when recipe calls for it. Second, price! What doesn’t cost more today? Unfortunately it cost more for ingredients and it costs more to ship those ingredients. If those costs aren’t passed on to patrons then the restaurant starts losing money and then out of business. We are just a little more careful about our dining dollars and where we spend them. Lastly, proprietors! We always were greeted cordially and received extremely friendly service. The owners put a lot of their own blood sweet and tears into Kings Garden. They were always here cooking themselves and greeting their patrons. I hope they’ve found some time to relax and have fun. Since moving a little further away we tried Chinese restaurants that were closer to us. We have been extremely disappointed and have decided we will travel the extra distance for MUCH better Asian food!
