Good Cafeteria Food. Its been a while since I've dined at a cafeteria, but this place is really good. I would try the fried chicken, but there is a wide selection of good down home food like: meatloaf, fried chicken, mac and cheese and some of your favorite home cooked dishes. The service is nice and the staff is super friendly!
Fried Chicken/Mashed Potatoes/Chicken Livers. I had not eaten at an MCL in a very long time; probably over 20 years. I had read recently that the fried chicken here was good, so I decided to give it a try. I chose mashed potatoes and chicken livers to go with it.
The chicken livers were good. A thin breading that was fried to a light crisp coating. The mashed potatoes and gravy were OK. The chicken was good. Better than I was expecting. The breading was light and crispy and the meat was pretty-well seasoned. Definitely better than I was expecting from a cafeteria. Next time I'm in a fried chicken mood, I'll have to keep MCL in mind.

Worth a stop.. Great restaurant, I always make time to stop there when passing by. Good quality food, and the prices are decent.
LOVE this restaurant! Food and service is always great. Me and my family have been eating here for years and it's always a great experience. Highly recommend the fried chicken and mashed potatoes, and you can't go wrong with any of the deserts.
I love MCL. There's something for everyone in your party. You'll probably change your mind several times because it all looks so good. Solved that...bring fried chicken home and order something else there. Staff is always kind and helpful. I try to leave a few dollars on the table. Just a great food and welcoming employees. I go with family or myself. 😊
We always like going to MCL. The service is always friendly. The menu has just about anything you could want so it's great for bringing kids. The food is always good. Lastly the prices are very affordable. It's all around a good value restaurant.
Really good experience, one of the better mcl's I can say. Went with my girlfriend and we had some really good food there

Food is very delicious. It’s very clean and the staff is absolutely wonderful.
Prices have had to increase due to economy but the food is delicious and plentiful.
If you ever need to pick up something for dinner- this has so many great options.
Just the comfort foods and selection needed for my first meal post surgery. Everything was delicious!

Food was great. Good attention in dining area. This a favorite cafeteria. Prices might get a little high. They do have a senior discount 2-5 .
