This is an incredible find. The food is of great variety that seems to leave the over-sized plate to your stomach faster than you want. My son ate his entire serving so fast, wife and I asked did he want something else. He did but didn't. His choice. We visited during Christmas Day so it was packed meaning service was adequate but understandable. Waiter said that they aren't normally that busy. That's a shame because to me that people are missing out on an incredible place. A bar is even located inside if that's what you want 😊.

Everything was perfect if this business ever decided to move to Avon they would put Red lobster out of business . I enjoyed the fantastic customer service also that's what matters when you go to a nice expensive restaurant

Just incredible Christmas dinner. Had some Blackened Mahi Mahi with the Southern style sides. I could have eaten just the Cheddar grits. Nice large piece of fish. The Calamari was perfectly cooked as well.

This place is three things. Fish market, bar, and restaurant. Lots of dark wood, and comfortable seating. They managed to balance things so you can feel at home with casual to well dressed. The bar is on the other side of a entrance division and not overbearing, and they made the fish counter elegant?! And not smelly. The menu is well balanced and the dishes are done with a tasty and clever combination of ingredients. In short bring whomever, and come for the food. I really liked their food! The prices were mid-to slightly elevated. The staff was prompt, friendly and professional.

Mitchell's Market Trio is broiled Sixty South Antarctic salmon, grilled shrimp, crab cake, roasted corn sauté andouille-jambalaya rice and asparagus. Small but nice sized portions of everything so it is okay by yourself if you are hungry. My drink was similar to Irish Coffee but is Luxury 9 (I think). It is scrumptious. Look for it on the drink menu. By the way, the bread is tasty too.

Been multiple times, BBQ bacon shrimp is worth the trip alone. Amazing crab cakes. In general, a solid place. Sometimes service can be slow. They also have some really good cocktails. My wife loves the lavender cucumber martini

Had a private party and the setting was beautiful. They put us is a back room that comfortably sat about 30. Temperatures were the issue all night. The room became uncomfortably warm with little ventilation. Because it was a large group, the restaurant has a policy of trying to bring all the food out together. While great in theory, this led to anything that wasn't specifically seafood to be lukewarm at best. It still tasted good, just wasn't the correct temperature. Desert was delicious. I had a Mini Sharkfin Pie.

Mitchell's has great food, today I just went there to purchase 2lb piece of tuna to take home and grill since the butcher was out. I always forget they are a fish market as well. Quality was fantastic!

We love this place! Service is always great and so is the food! However we were there last night and I got my usual shrimp scampi. It was good However used to be better. There was a ton of shrimp however the sauce was a little bland and they changed the noodle from what used to be angel hair now to more of a fettuccine noodle which changed the whole dish. Guess I’ll have to try something else next time.

Great place to eat and hang out with friends or family. Service was excellent as usual with Lauren going the extra mile! Clean and neat surroundings even make it better. Food was good, hot, decent portions and fresh. Bbq bacon shrimp is 1 of the best appetizers I've had!
