My family had lunch a few weeks ago and it was excellent. So I went for dinner with my family and it was better. The portions wether lunch or dinner are sizable.

Louie's Pizzeria offers a robust mouthful upon mouthful. You can choose to dine on the casual pizza side and enjoy selecting from an array of pizzas, rolls, capellini cakes or rice balls, heroes, salads as well as a host of traditional hot dishes. Alternatively, they also offer a full menu to dazzle your senses. They have a weekly pasta special on Mondays through Wednesdays. And each recipe is attractive as is tasty. Tonight, we enjoyed their special - Swordfish served in a wine butter sauce with escarole and cannellini beans. The fish had to be over a pound to a pound and a half portion along with a delicate sauce that was further enhanced by a splash of white wine both in the dish and my husband's glass.
I asked for sausage and peppers sans red sauce. I suffer from Colitis so I limit my exposure to foods that may trigger a spell. Well, the dish was excellent. Delicious sausages, narrow slices of red and green peppers and onions sauteed in a little bit of olive oil and garlic just made this the perfect dish for me. Of course, half came home for a second round this week. On many other visits, I can share they have delicious veal and chicken dishes to enjoy and offer a yummy lasagne. They also have a beautiful cheesecake and or cannoli for dessert, so you end your night on a sweet note. Conveniently located on Old Country Road at the western end of the Country Glen Plaza, there is ample parking. The staff is friendly and can help with any particular dietary concerns.

This place was a nice place to just relax and eat in. The food was delicious and the bread was next level. The only reason it’s not a full on 5 star experience was because of my Clam Linguine. Although good, the clams weren’t cleaned correctly and had lots of sand that leaked into the pasta. The price was pretty okay for being close to the mall.
Pizza is well made without a crazy amount of sauce and cheese. Isn't too oily. Buffalo slice has a nice kick that isn't overly powerful.
I stopped by for my lunch break and I have to say that The restaurant was very clean and the people that work there are very kind. I had garlic knots and it taste so good. That was my best lunch ever. I recommend this place and will definitely be back for more food.
I thought this was just a pizzeria. What a nice surprise that it was a restaurant as well. Big portions, so bring your appetite. Love the cappuccinos!!
My family and I just moved into the neighborhood and always in search of awesomeness eateries. Louies Pizzeria totally did not disappoint us. The pizza was amazing and my picky eater just devoured her spaghetti and meatballs. I went a little somewhat healthier option of broccoli rabe with chicken and mozzarella on a hero was fantastic. My family and I found our go to Italian Pizzeria eatery. Oh forgot to mention the customer service was awesome, Liz was patient and a pleasure to talk to. It’s a must try you won’t regret it. Great local pizza/Italian place! Nice folks, even called to ask if I was allergic to something when I added additional notes on my to go order!
Love coming here. We moved from Garden City to Queens and still take the drive a couple of times a week.
Scottish Salmon - great texture and tenderness. Once your fork touches down to the meat, it will separate out to nice fillets automatically. Slightly seasoned top surface is well done, but not crispy.
SAUTEED BROCCOLI WITH GARLIC - my standard to pick real great Italian restaurant, and Louies got a A+ on this section - generous serving size with great aroma

Ok I order thier salads almost daily at this point! I havent even tried the pizza yet. The salad ingredients are always fresh and I can be pretty picky about the texture and freshness of the chicken in a salad but thiers is always fresh!! Get your salad chopped for best results!
