We had an awesome experience at Clay Hill farms restaurant. Our view was spectacular it was like we were looking into a bird sanctuary. Very peaceful atmosphere. Our food was delicious. I ordered the prime rib and it was done perfectly. My husband ordered the stuffed Haddock with lobster and crab filling. It also was so good. The staff was very professional and accommodating. We definitely will be regulars this year while we stay here in beautiful Maine.

This was our fifth time at Clay Hill and each time we go, we try and get something different. We came the first time after getting a recommendation from the owners at the inn we were staying at and have been coming back every year since. The food is just incredible, fresh and flavorful, we love it!! The waitstaff is friendly and always very attentive. The portion sizes are great, I couldn't finish my swordfish and we wound up taking our dessert to go. Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the Ogunquit area!!
Clay Hill Farm Restaurant was outstanding! The lobster bisque was delicious, truffle fries were fantastic and the baked, stuffed haddock and prime were were cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for a place to splurge a bit and celebrate a special occasion you can’t go wrong here!
Food & Atmosphere are 4 Star - Service was 5 star. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. The watermelon sorbet was fantastic.
Love this place! My husband and I have been coming here for years. We enjoy listening to the piano player while having a cocktail at the bar before dinner. The food and service here is excellent! We got engaged here 15 years ago, so it makes it a very special place for us!
Lovely spot - we enjoyed watching the amazing variety of birds at the feeders right near our table! Food was spot on, especially the lobster bisque, rack of lamb and lemon creme brûlée

August 5th will make 6 years my husband and I were married at Clay Hill. It will always be a special place for us. The food is always excellent as well as the atmosphere and staff is always so warm and welcoming.
Started with the mussels which were the absolute best I’ve ever tasted! The house salad was perfect (loved the toasted pistachios). I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly and was very tender. Of course I had to have dessert even though I was comfortably full. I chose to keep it simple and ordered the caramel sundae. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our second annual trip to Clay Hill Farm will NOT be our last.

We can't say enough about this place the food was delicious from the first course to dessert and the staff was superior. I want to go in the nice weather to see the patio in full bloom.
This was the perfect dining experience from beginning to end..you do your research and hope for the best. This was the best I would drive the 2 1/2 hours just to come here again!
My fiancé and I could not have asked for a better experience. Starting with the valet parking to the beautiful piano playing when we entered the restaurant to the excellent service and food! One of the best dining experiences! Thank you!
A dinner at Clay Hill is special for the food and service. All our food was fresh delicious and a nice presentation. They never rush you so dinner is at your pace. It's worth the trip off the beaten path.

The food was divine-- the view while dining was relaxing as well as entertaining watching the birds--chipmunks and wildlife 10 feet away through the window!! and the entertainment was pleasant to hear while not overpowering any conversation--

Had the pleasure to dine here before catching a show at Cliff House. We started with the brussel sprouts which were amazing. My friend had the prime rib cooked to perfection and I had the seared scallops.
We had the house special strawberry shortcake and lemon coconut cheese cake for dessert.
The meal ŵas timed to perfection and we never felt rushed while still feeling the service was attentive.
We've been 3 times now. Last time during the holidays. Fantastic location, nice view of the grounds, it has an easy going but elegant feel, service has always been spot on, nicely paced, good recommendations. Every dish we've had there has been excellent. Lobster Bisque! Crab stuffed Haddock....YUM

Lovely atmosphere with a rating fireplace and perfectly attentive servers. The pianist brought joy with an endless stream of musical theatre tunes.
When arriving at Clay Hill it is so beautiful and once seated the food is equally amazing. Our waiter was one of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere, the food, the staff were all a 10/10. We went for our anniversary and I definitely hope to be back.
Everyone on staff was marvelous. James the host was exceptional and we enjoyed his friendly and quick wit throughout our experience at Clay Hill. We had three servers taking care of our table and each was very efficient, pleasant and a joy to be with. It's out of the way, but well worth the trip.
What a lovely restaurant! Quaint and cozy…a welcome change from the hustle of Main Street. Food was delicious and the portions were just right. I had scallops and my husband had the steak. We shared the butterscotch crème brûlée for dessert - we ate every last bite. The musical duo playing in the tavern area were great as well! A most enjoyable evening all around.

Absolutely a must go to for fine dining near OGT or York. This restaurant has the best dining experience.
There are several large dining areas, the best in my opinion is the view of the bird sanctuary. Lovely view of the gardens and bird feeders. The bar is also great for cocktails and dinner, offering a closer seat to the piano bar.
The staff here are always kind and attentive. They always seem to do whatever is needed to make your experience five stars.
The chef rotates specials around local foods, including what is ripe in their own garden. We started with mussels in a Gorgonzola cream sauce that was delicious, I asked for more bread to soak up the sauce and we shared the crab seafood tower. Just a great way to start a fantastic evening.
I got a lobster shrimp scampi and misses got the crispy chicken thighs. Both were flavorful and perfectly portioned. For dessert we shared a strawberry rhubarb biscuit dessert that I enjoyed cold but think it would have been better warm.
The pianist is a nice touch, they also have other live entertainment during the week.
We will definitely be back!!
Just watched Kirk Simpson perform a night of Edgar Allan Poe. Absolutely wonderful interactive performance. Food as always was great. Can't wait to see Kirk do one of his other one man shows.
